I think I'll buy it either way. I have a PC portal so it has a USB interface, and the portals must work the same besides the interface since they all read the toys the same.
Question: Was the Wii version of Skylanders one missing anything? I know different versions of games can vary frm console to console. I remember hearing that the Wii version didn't have the preview videos of Skylanders, but did it ack anything else?

Does Best Buy not have some sort of lowest price guarentee like amazon or Gamestop? Anyway, it's awesome the prices are so cheaper in Canada while in the USA I will be shelling out $75 for the Wii and 3DS starter packs.

It does have the preview Videos, and the interesting thing is that when the Skylanders exits the Portal of Power preview video, the Skylander glows, only in the Wii version. And some Skylander upgrades act differently too, like Cynder's black lighting upgrade, in the Xbox 360 version, when you bought the upgrade, it would be wide and long range, but in the Wii version, it would only be long range, but there is an Upgrade for Cynder that makes it wide and long range.
