I talked to a person I know at Gamestop today.

They informed me that Gamestop and Activision have worked out a system that allows for the preordering of Skylanders figures from here on out, starting with Giants.

So, this means Giants figures can be preordered when they get word of what releases on day 1.

This should give a big middle finger to the scalpers out there. Keep an eye on Gamestop to preorder figures and avoid any rush.

Ensuring a toy just sounds less stressful, wonder why they didn't do it to start with?

And that won't stop scalpers since they can preorder too, it's just another outlet for them and consumers to get the toys.
