~Chapter One~

The sun shone down on the Ruins, illuminating the waterfalls and shimmering grasses. The Skylanders were playing about in the fields. They were playing their favorite game: Hide-and-Seek.

Stealth Elf stood invisibly next to a scarecrow of herself. Stump Smash was standing as still as possible under the leaves of an apple bush. Camo was simply crouched down in the grass, being camouflaged. Zook was hidden in a mini forest of his own mushrooms. Warnado was levitating by a geyser that was near the train tracks. Whirlwind was hiding in the cave behind the gears on the beach. Sonic Boom had hidden her four babies in pottery urns with small cracks in them. She was perched on a curved spire near the docks. Lightning Rod was hiding inside a train car. Gill Grunt was on a floating island above the sea. Zap was in a little-known cove near the giant waterfalls. Wham-Shell was clinging to the Chain of Time between the Ruins and the Arkeyan world. Slam Bam was simply underwater. Hex was hiding in the prison where Gurglefin had been. Ghost Roaster had somehow gotten inside the dead tree and was hiding in its hollow. Chop Chop was behind the Arkeyan Weapon Master. Cynder was in shadow form and hiding in a cave near the geysers. Terrafin was underground. Bash was in an alcove near the Molekin Mine entrance. Prism Break was among the rocks, disguised as one himself. Dino-Rang was near Arbo, looking inconspicuous. Flameslinger was behind a torch. Sunburn was in Cali's tent. Eruptor was near the stone tunnel to Crystal Eye Castle. Ignitor was on a rock near the waterfalls. He had walked across the Chain of Time and then jumped to get there. Trigger Happy was in the cave under the geysers. Drill Sergeant was near the broken robot on the beach. Drobot was hiding cleverly behind Persephone. Boomer was near the General Robot. Wrecking Ball was near the pottery. Voodood was disguised a sheep. Double Trouble was on the beach, looking like a tiki decoration.

Spyro, meanwhile, was it.

He spread his wings and glided around. He noticed the suspiciously large sheep and proclaimed, "Found ya!"

Voodood grumbled and emerged from his wool disguise.

Spyro strolled over to Arbo, shouting, "Dino-Rang, you're in plain sight!"

Dino-Rang walked over to sit by Voodood in the 'Found' corner by Persephone.

Spyro padded around, walking right on Camo multiple times. He finally found Stump Smash.

Next, Spyro found Zook in the mushrooms, proclaiming that his hiding place was too obvious because there were no naturally sprouted mushrooms anywhere else in the Ruins. Then, he found Drobot just chilling behind Persephone.

This is too easy, Spyro thought. He trotted over to the pottery urns, finding Wrecking Ball and Sonic Boom's babies. Sonic Boom swooped towards her babies, gliding toward the 'Found' corner.

After five minutes or so, everyone had been found except Stealh Elf. Just as Spyro was walking by her hideout, she became visible, nearly scaring the life out of him. As Spyro opened his mouth to deem her the game's winner, Eon's floating head materialied over the Core of Light.

"Evil draws near," Eon boomed. "You must stop the Dark Thief and find the legendary Mist Island before the darkness consumes us all!" His head disappeared, leaving everyone in stunned silence.

~Chapter Two~

There was a rush of action directly after Eon's floating head faded.

Hugo and Flynn rushed over to the balloon. "We must find this Mist Island," Hugo said excitedly. "All in favor of air travel, gather in front of the balloon."

Sonic Boom and her babies, Whirlwind, Lightning Rod, and Warnado sprinted over, followed by Sunburn and Drobot.

Cali cupped her hands around her mouth to magnify her voice and yelled,"All in favor of land travel, gather in front of me!"

Stealth Elf, Camo, Stump Smash, Zook, Bash, Dino-Rang, Prism Break, and Terrafin rushed over. Ignitor, Eruptor, and Flameslinger lumbered after them.

Gurglefin leaned against his ship. "All in favor of water travel, gather in front of the boat!" he hollered.

Gill Grunt, Wham-Shell, Slam Bam, Zap, Trigger Happy, Drill Sergeant, Boomer, Spyro, Double Trouble, Voodod, Wrecking Ball, Cynder, Hex, Ghost Roaster, and Chop Chop all trotted over.

"Up, up, and away!" Flynn cried as his party lifted off into the skies.

"Let's go!" Cali called as her pack jogged away.

"Set sail!" Gurglefin yelled as his crew boarded the ship and shoved off.

The adventure had begun.
