Okay i was just randomly browsing google for spyro pics and i came across a website http://heliosx.com/spyro/gallery.html and it seems like they were making "Spyro's Kingdom". From the looks of it Spyro was going to get an MMORPG.

Hmm... this looks interesting. And it seemed that it was going to be in the LoS universe as well with some elements of Skylanders.

It kind of looks like the game would explain what happened after dawn of the dragon.

Yeah, floating islands. But Ignitus is shown to be alive in one of the pictures there.

Would the game actually bring back classic Spyro? Okay we finally see the cancelled game but what now? Do we just still concentrate on Skylanders: Giants?

If they decided to fund the concept of Skylanders over this, then there was obviously a reason for that. This reason probably still applies, so I don't think we'll ever see it become an actual game.

Nice demo through, was kinda fun making a lair and all, but damn that lag.

I'm pretty curious as to what Spyro and the lore was going to be, from some of the concepts it suggested he was a teen.

It still can be a cool game, made seperately.

BTW, this wasn't the only time this was done.

There was originally a "Dinosaur Planet" with Krystal and Sabre, for the Nintendo 64 until "Starfox" was added.

It was on the site, Playable Demo.

Nope, not bad at all...
Not saying that I'm mad, I'm just really dissapointed...

I would have been quite happy if that game had been released in full.

It would be cool if Spyro universe was like this.

From the first looks of it, it looks bleh. Nothing special, too expected from a LoS universe.

Well, that's pretty interesting, but I wonder what happened to that cancelled 18+ Spyro's game that Toys for Bob was developing: did they ever made some concept arts about this project?

Also, I found interesting that in this Spyro's Kingdom they wanted to put back the Spyro's classic design too.

Im taking a shot in the dark here, but it could mean that the company proposed the project "Spyro's Kingdom". But Activision rejected it.

It's like that other Spyro game that was cancelled back in 2002, Spyro Ever After. They probably cancelled Spyro's Kingdom when Activision cancelled the Spyro Movie.

But I have seen Helios' other products, and it would've looked similar.

this looks great, ive always wanted an online spyro game, but the gameplay looked a bit dodgy and slow, but if that was improved than I would have preferd this to skylanders.

They both have similar concepts... If the LoS universe continued, then it possibly would've been approved, but Activision had other ideas.

Although I like Skylanders, this looks 100 times better

As much as I like Skylanders, I have to admit that I think this looks really good and would have probably gotten a much more positive reaction from the fans. The cancelling of this game is just like when Activision cancelled Radical Entertainments 2010 Crash Bandicoot game.

I wish they made this. I like TLoS better than Skylanders.

I'm Agree, Skylanders is getting boring and boring if you play it a lot, I want to see something like TLoS Series

so sad that it was cancelled if i saw this game 2 years ago when i was making dragon ocs with my friends i would have loved this.

Any possibility on seeing their proposal in PDF form? It can be found in this link, but upon clicking it, there's no such file. Contact the company perhaps? I'm very interested in how they proposed this game with game mechanics, settings and such.
