So, i may as well give a brief summary of this, this story is basically a remake of Cinderella, SPYRO STYLE!

So, as most stories start Once Upon a Time *sound of record stopping*
Whoa, Whoa Whoa, hold the phone if this is going to be a story about Cynder, it needs a better starter than that!

Legends ago, a young dragon named Cynder was trapped by an evil dragon named Malefor. Cynder wanted to go out into the world, but the ape king, Gaul refused her passage saying, "You will never be welcomed in the Outside World."

Yet, as the years went by Cynder became more of a slave, and she soon had to clean the cinders from Malefor's fires, and so everybody took to calling her Cynderella. Poor Cynderella didn't know that in the Outside World, the ruler of the dragon world, Prince Spyro was looking for a mate, but all of the princesses were just too classy, and none of them knew how to have a little fun.

Well, word of an upcoming ball got to the Dark Master. He knew that if he went in disguise, he could destroy the purple pest. "Gaul! Come, we are going to the ball in disguise." Cynder watched as the Dark Master left with Gaul, and she thought she could escape until she saw a force field being placed around the cave that she called home.

She sighed, thinking of what would happen to the Dragon Prince, when all of a sudden a dragonfly appeared out of nowhere!

"Geez, what no welcoming party?" The dragonfly asked. "Okay, let's see where did I put those index cards, oh there they are, geez these things are heavy. Okay Congratulations! Insert Name Here, you have a magical dragonfly that will grant you one wish et cetera et cetera et cetera. Not valid in Iceland or Greenland, and my name is Sparx."

"WOW! My own dragonfly wish!" Cynderella said excitedly. "Let's see, I can wish for anything, anything at all. Nope, can't think of anything." "How's about a trip to the ball." Sparx suggested.

"Okay, I wish that i could go to the ball." Cynder said. "Your wish is my command." Sparx said. "Abracadabra... no, that's not it.... Open Sesame, no... OH YEAH! HOCUS POCUS... NO???? Bibbity Bobbity Boo?" A metal necklace appeared around Cynderella's neck. "This will protect you from the forcefield's powers, but..." Cynder flew out the forcefield before Sparx could warn her that the necklace fell off at midnight.

Cynder stayed in the shadows until the Dark Master and Gaul began to attack Spyro. When this happened, she came in breathing shadow fire, and then she unleashed her shadow fire fury ultimately weakening the Dark Master and Gaul.

Spyro was impressed by this newcomer. He finally found a girl with some action in her life. Spyro and Cynder ultimately fell in love with each other, and they flew until midnight at which moment Cynder's collar fell off. Apalled, Cynder flew away hoping that she could re-enter through the force field around her home.

When Cynder reached her home she tried to break the forcefield with all of her might, but she couldn't get in. She saw Sparx flitting around inside, and she yelled, "Sparx! Let me in! Come on Sparx!" Sparx didn't hear her, but he did look outside and see her. "Silly little dragoness. Why didn't she listen to me?" he muttered to himself. He flew over to the forcefield, said "Bibbity Bobbity Boo!" and Cynder fell into the forcefield. "The necklace falls off at midnight." Sparx said jokingly. Cynder looked up at him angrily and stalked into the cave.

Meanwhile, Gaul and Malefor were just waking up. Both didn't know what happened, but they were going to take out their anger on Cynder. Spyro flew down to the ground and retrived the necklace. He would find the black dragoness that this necklace belonged to. He would find her or die trying.

okay, okay, one month later... I'll post!!!!

Spyro gathered his troops, dragons of all shapes and sizes appeared to find the dragoness that he fell in love with as soon as he laid eyes on her. "Search the houses of the palace, the village, even the outskirts, the caves, everywhere! Bring every black dragoness you find the the ballroom." He commaned as he flew off, everybody following, then dispersing to search an area of the kingdom.

Gaul and Malefor soon reached the cave, removing the forcefield, Malefor angrily stalked into the cave. "Cynder!" He bellowed, the name echoing of the hard rock walls. "Oh no! Malefor and Gaul are back, Sparx, hide!" Cynder whispered in despair. Sparx simply said, "Bibbity Bobbity Boo!" and he turned into a lantern filled with fire hanging on the wall. Cynder cringed at every pawstep she heard Malefor take. Why, oh why did she go to the ball?
