I cant find him in any stores locally(pinellas county fl) and ebay and amazon websites get over $40 pretty quickly. Any suggestions(besides pony up)?

Blech. Don't waste your time paying a ridiculous price.

Whammy will be out in all stores eventually. It's just a matter of waiting. Gamestop has them occasionally on their site as well, so just hold out for him. No sense in wasting your money just so you can have him right this second.

I think most of us got them from GameStop.com, at retail prices. Amazon preorders of whammy are still in limbo, so I wouldn't expect to see them posting it again until they fill the orders.

I've seen him for less than 40 buy it now on ebay several times, but I say just hold out and wait. He often shows up on Gamestop.com for sale. I wouldn't pay more than the MSRP for him thats for sure.
I almost caved and did the same (Buy him from ebay) but managed to keep myself under control long enough to snag my Whammy through a trade with someone on here. (Traded my extra V. Vault for a Wham Shell).

Patients is key in this situation, I know its hard but you'll be glad you did wait once you do find one for retail.
