Umm...yes.

A Phoenix is a mythological fire bird that eventually "burns out" but gets reborn.
A Griffin is a creature with the head and wings of an eagle but the body of a lion.

Fire is a must with a Phoenix, but it is not anywhere near linked with a Griffin.

In short, a Griffin-Dragon would not work as a Fire Giant nor as an actual Fire Skylander. Besides, we already have on Griffin...

No.

yeah there is a difference: eagle's head is white. and sunburn has four legs. really, fire won't have another bird skylander.

I'd like to think there would be a that fire creature from the fellowship of the ring. the balrog. As they have an Ent = tree rex and elves smilie smilie and a elven sorceress (who was turned undead) = smilie

Well ignitor isnt really a fire elemental he is just a cursed knight, and having Eruptor as the only fire elemental is just sad.
