So I pre-ordered Camo, Warnado and Wham-Shell from amazon. Has anybody's order shipped? When they take pre-orders, how long does it usually take for items to arrive in stock for shipping?

I believe there was one user who said their Camo and Warnado were shipped, but not Wham-Shell for whatever reason.

I've never had a preorder in from amazon, but I'd expect to see it soon. When ordering on the mobile version of the website, it said "Expected to arrive June 1st". I'm thinking they'll get it in before then, but I dunno.

I've never pre-ordered anything from amazon myself, but I've heard several people saying their Camo and Warnado have been shipped. Can't you contact customer service or something and ask?

Amazon customer care upgraded my order to one day shipping because they wanted to compensate me for having to wait so long. They still won't give me a date.

Emailing them, they told me this:

I've checked your order and can confirm Activision Skylanders Single Character Pack Wham-Shell , Activision Skylanders Spyro's Adventure Character Warnado and Activision Skylanders Single Character Pack Camo is now back-ordered. I'm sorry about this delay--we certainly didn't expect this would happen.

Unexpected fluctuations in supply can add time to our original availability estimate. We have learned that items is now back- ordered, and our supplier has not been able to let us know exactly when they expect to have more in stock.

We are working hard to obtain this item for you and we will ship it as soon as we are able to obtain it. This means that we will ship the item as soon as we receive it from our suppliers even if the estimated ship date has still not arrived.

They go on to apologize profusely for the problem...although I just tried to ask if there was a specific date they're thinking they may come in. Really nice customer service though.

I placed my order for the three of them on apr 18, I just got an email to say camo and warnado are expected to ship between may 7- may 10. No expected shipping date on wham shell....yet.

You JUST received this e-mail? That means mine could be coming, assuming all pre-orders are filled the same time.

Got Postalgoddess' email to. But it shows it in two seperate shipments when I only paid for one. I hope they don't charge me extra for the other shipment.

They won't charge you for two separate orders if you didn't pay for it.

I also just got an email stating that Camo and Warnado are shipping with mine arriving around May 3rd. No ETA on Whammy so far. I cannot imagine that they would not be getting cases and cases of Whammy in since GS & WM have offered them twice since the Amazon pre-orders were placed. It's just weird for a retailer list large to not get preferential treatment. They must have peeved off Acti or TFB at some point. Or their purchaser is just really, really bad at pressing the issue with the disty.

Edit: I ordered on the 18th of April. I got the email around 5:41PM today (4/29/12) from Amazon.

I got the email also. Card has also been charged. Say they will arrive May 3rd or 4th. I have Prime 2 day shipping.

What times were the e-mail's received? I didn't get one yet. Also, what day did you all order yours?

Mine says when they should ship, not when they will arrive. I don't even need them anymore...just figured someone else I know would be in need still...since I found them in stores, twice last week!

I got my email today, 718pm. My order was placed 4/18, using free super saver shipping.

Mine says Camo's estimated arrival is May 3rd, still no update on Warnado or Wham Shell.

You must all be ahead of me in line. I don't have anything changed on mine since I pre ordered [April 18]. Good thing I'm not in a rush to get them.

Hmm..no email yet. I ordered mine around 10:30 am EST on the 18th. Well, that's good news though. Things from amazon usually only take a couple days after shipping to get to your house.

just got the email that Camo and Warnado are shipping no Wham-Shell either

i ordered the triple pack of camo warnado and whan shell from a user on amazon.com and he emailed me saying it will be may 30th before he gets the shipment

Nothing on my pre-ordered Wham Shell yet either.

I was the one who got mine already (Friday) - I have Prime and 2 day shipping . Still no update on Whammy.

Received mine on Friday as well, ordered two each.

Got my shipping confirmation today. Will just need Wham Shell to ship after these two come this week.

Shipping confirmation received. Awaiting Wham Shell and that will be it.

I'm worried because everyone seems to have gotten their email but I'm still waiting on a shipping date. Should I call customer service when I get home tonight or just be patient and wait on the email notification?

Same as you. I sent them an email the day before asking if they had any idea when they may get them in, but they just kept apologizing and basically said they had no idea.

I'd just say to wait it out. We'll get them eventually I suppose.

Mine hasn't shipped either.

No shipping on mine. We ended up finding all we needed before the order shipped, so we ended up just canceling it.

I got a working shipping confirmation for my GameStop order this evening, so with still no word from Amazon (despite having ordered earlier than several folks who have gotten their order confirmations and stated their order times) I cancelled it. I was thrilled at the possibility of getting my final 3 from Amazon, but seeing as they couldn't produce the goods, I don't know that I'll be bothering with such offerings going forward.

FINALLY got a confirmation today that Camo/Warnado are shipping out and are expecting to arrive between May 8th and 12th.
Which is perfect..that's when my finals are done. hahaha

My camo and warnado shipped nothing on wham shell should be here between the may 4th and the 9th

Geez when will I get my email from Amazon? I order all 3 of these Skylanders on April 18th. How come so many people have had theirs shipped yet some are still waiting? Arrgghhhhhhh.

What time did you order? I'm thinking they're doing them in order of time of order placed. I think I ordered mine around 10:30 ish, about an hour after they had been up.

Just checked the tracking, Camo and Warnado are in Ohio, but down in Toledo..about a 2 hour drive from up here. Not bad, but I'm hoping they'll come around Saturday or so.

My Warnado e-mail came in. Still waiting on Camo and Wham-Shell.

Mine Camo and Warnado still say, not yet shipped...no estimate for whamshell.

I got an email today, that camo and warnado have shipped....expected delivery on Wednesday.

Dunno if anyone else just got an email from amazon, but the one I got said they want you to click if you still want the item. While approving, the date listed is June 17th which it stated was the date in which they would cancel the order.

Now the wording was kind of weird to me, so it seems as if you don't click the link they'll auto cancel for you on that date. I'm hoping its not a "if we don't get it in we cancel" date. Because if so I think a lot of us are gonna be out of luck...

I got it too...it says they are still trying to locate the item. It said they needed approval for the delay...it seems if we don't "opt-in" for the "delay", they are gonna auto cancel on June 17. Probably just automatic, so they don't have forever pending orders, when in fact a lot of people may not still want it at this point anyway.

I still want it, and it looks like I'm gonna have to hit the pavement again to find Wham Shell before my son's birthday in late June. Damn you, Amazon.

If anyone has an extra Wham Shell, please hit me up with a PM and we'll work something out. Good grief, I thought I was done with this foolishness until Giants.
