Considering that Dark Spyro was only a cameo from Dark Spyro in TEN/DOTD, then I doubt it.

Dark Spyro came from the legend series as in the game he was mist so they made him a body
and he is said to be his own skylander

I'd doubt it. If there was, we would have known about it already. (Either in an announcement, data in the 3DS version etc)

Maybe for Giants. Although I'd really hope they lay off the variants..or at least make them worthwhile over a palette swap. (Yes I know Dark Spyro has a purple aura, but really...that's not that impressive. They should have given him Convexity Breath or something...)

Unless Dark Spyro gets a repose figure, then no. There's really no need unless they make a totally new one for storyline purposes.
