Oh so, yeah, the last topic was closed because I hadn't posted anything in ages. So yeah, here's another one that is taking up even more storage on the server!!!! Anyway, for those who never saw the original topic here it is:

Much like my Giants topic, I will kind of inform people of stuff on this first topic because I can - and it also means that people don't have to look through various pages of info.

Added a list of locations that I've confirmed so far - some of the names will mean nothing now but mean everything when the game is actually released.

Hang on hang on a freakin minute!
Why is Spyro going back to Avalar in his LoS form? I thought they had abandoned the previous Spyro worlds in that series, and since this has Cynder it's definitely based on the LoS series.

Avalar being the name I gave for the Dragon Kingdom - as a country - rather than just calling it 'the Dragon Kingdom'.

Ok...so what kind of battle system are you going to use. Classic turn-based RPG, a live timer system form Final Fantasy 6, or a more actiony approach and have battles take place in a field to run around in during battle but still have random encounters?

Also what kind of engine will you be using. Game maker? Rpg make vx/xp? I also find it odd that you already have the pc specs but not the battle system laid out yet?

The system spec is the spec required to run RPG Maker VX games - that's where I got it from. Also, I'm using a classic turn based battle system. I could use an ABS (action battle system) but I just like the retro feel of a turn based battle system.

Well to each his own. Good luck on the game. Also I really do hope your story turns out well. Also would it be cool if you included areas from the GBA version of Eternal Night. Some of those places had some pretty nice places, perfect for challenge dungeon extras (Particularly its version of the 4 Trials of White isle).

Sorry for the late reply - yeah I'll try and get all locations from every version of the TLoS games to make it authentic to the TLoS universe. Well, unless any of the locations in the GBA/DS versions don't fit with the cannon of the console games. My order of location priority will go:

Console > GBA > DS > Mobile

Which is based on the order of the cannon in the plot. The reason why the GBA version is more reliable than the DS version is because of the sibling error in the DS version of ANB.

Anyway, more recently I've been having a discussion with my creative director (I make it sound more professional than it actually is). We've been making lots of progress and having long talks about plot ideas, design ideas ETC. Anyway, she said that she was thinking of drawing some concept art and sending them to me over the next few days, so if she does I'll post it on the topic.

Owen out.

Oh ****, I completly forgot about this post. Ok then, better post some info...

The game is still in the works, however it probably won't come out this year - most likely next year instead. BUT! But... There is now an original soundtrack for the game, composed by BlazethefireDragon from YouTube:

Some of you who've known me for long enough will get the references in the titles, especially with 'Stone Cold Warrior'. That's all for now, I'll probably post some new screenshots when I feel I've made enough progress in some of the levels.

Yay for bumping... Buuuuutttt... This game is no where near finished. Like... Really, no where near finished. I do hate to say it (because I've had this game as an idea since 2008) but I kind of don't want to do this anymore.

For what it was, it seemed like it was going to be more effort than it's worth. I mean, it was ambitious but realistic; I had all the extra little features working so it wasn't like I was saying I would do stuff that was impossible. The only problem is... It's far too long. Like, my plan for the game is impossible with my resources, my engine, the time I have ETC.

But, even if I ever do turn around one day and say it's cancelled I'd still like to work on a spiritual successor to it. I've had a plan for a game for a while now that is a follow-up of the story for this game but not set in the Spyro universe (so it's my own universe with my own characters ETC). Taking that into consideration, I could alter this game and then make the plan for a spiritual successor just a sequel.

...If this makes sense to any of you.

I also want to work on a Skylanders game. Just sayin'.
