Well, it seems like a few people are dropping codes randomly, so just keep checking. Other than that, you could grind for coins on universe to unlock other characters.

Yeah. Just smash crates and play the games and stuff and you'll get more coins to buy Skylanders on Universe. The more you have, the bigger the discount you get.

yea but you can only rent them so you have them for a certain period of time before they go away

ok, i'm surprised nobody else has asked already ... how and why do you only have 1 skylander ?

Since the recent updates to universe new players only get one skylander free, not like before when you got a Magic, Water and Tech skylander, then the first free choice from the browse menu free letting you start with four
