Wrecking Ball does have a tail in toy form, it's just way short.

The tail is very small and short but it doesn't stick strait out; it's sideways and pressed flat against its body. This was most likely done due to the small size of the tail and not having to make a separate mold for the tail piece. This saves time and money for the manufacturer.
