i got a work around. seems i had to go back to the lair, browse skylanders, fire, sunburn, and where you have the option to rent, put in the web code there. 
only way i could get it to work. >.> buggy site

So I got my dragon's peak in today, but my sunburn wont register D: used the portal and the code. Sunburn loads and goes off to the left, then hangs there. =/
