You guys have your numbers wrong. There will be only 8 new skylanders. 4 of which will light up.

One new skylander for each element, yeah. Who didn't know that? But i honestly don't care about the light force Skylanders because im pretty sure all the Giants can light up

I mean, people have been saying that there will be twelve new, but that's not true. There will be eight new regular sized, four of which will light up.

I think there was a huge misconception especially after GeekDad's recent blog post claiming that Adventure Packs wouldn't work. He purported that all 32 Skylanders would get reposed, when we learned when Giants was announced that there would be 24 reposes, and 4 Lightforces, giving a total of 28 returning figures. (Leaving 4 mysteriously, which leads me to believe they're gonna continue making the Adventure packs)

Then there's 8 new characters and 8 new giants. 4 of the new characters will also have Lightforce variants. (So, 8 total LF)
