I decided to get a single pack drobot, and bash because I was not that interested in the other two that came in each of their respective 3 pack. And I don't have a gotta collect them all compulsion for these characters.

Before then because of the lower price (I've only spent 19.99 on three packs so far) I've previously only bought three packs

Wrecking Ball, Stealth Elf & Sonic Boom
Whirl Wind, Double Trouble & Drill Sergeant

Want
Ignitor, Warnado, Camo


I know I want whirl wind, I'm not sure about the other two. Can anyone recommend those two or should I pass and get the whirl wind single? Like I did with drobot and bash

Lastly not counting the legendaries, did I miss any three packs? Or are they all accounted for?

I have the adventure packs which is why they are not mentioned.

Get Whirl Wind single pack, the other 2 are so not worth it.

The only triple pack I have EVER gotten were the whirlwind one and the Voodood one. I felt like why should I buy a three pack just for one or two characters. I almost bought the Lightning Rod three pack just do LRod but passed.

I decided to pick up 3 packs whenever I needed at least 2 of the figures in them. So thus far, I bought the Drobot/Flameslinger/Stump Smash, Whirlwind/Double Trouble/Drill Sarge, and the Zook/Lightning Rod/Cynder 3 packs.

Really, those are the best deals since $10 per figure x 3= $30 while the 3 packs are $25. If you can't find the figures by themselves, pick up a 3 pack.

I think if I want at least two out of the three then I get the three pack, but if just one like drobot and bash then I'll get the single.

i dont know Double Troubles pretty good as well i perfer him over WhirlWind

Double trouble is a real beast. one of the strongest skylanders, if not the best one. drill sergeant is meh.

however, i bought them all except ignitor one (i will buy zook and camo one when they will be released)

Okay I'll get the three. from the videos and reading their upgrade paths I can get a feel for how most of the skylanders are going to play. I knew I didn't want drill like I didn't want stump but I couldn't really tell how double trouble was going to be. The other 4 I passed on with the two three packs I'm skipping I feel pretty solid about
Chop chop and stump looked especially bad, and eruptor and flameslinger seems very skippable in comparison to boomer

I haven't skipped any of the triple packs. But I might skip the final one, because I already have Ignitor. I'll buy it if I see it first, though, because then I'll give the extra Ignitor to my nephew. But for now, I'm just planning to get singles of Camo, Warnado and Wham Shell.

I feel Whirlwind was only particularly worthwhile when we only had two air-type character. We haven't used Whirlwind in months. Sonic Boom and Lightning Rod are far more interesting and fun.

You essentially get a figure for free ($30 for three individuals, $20 for a triple-pack), so why not wait? Of course, I see that triple-packs are often $25 in the USA, so I'd be less inclined to wait.

I believe the only place they are $25 is at TRU. Hence my dislike for all things TRU.

I skipped them all

The main reason I want whirl wind is it is the only skylander I know that can heal. I'd like that for healing my kiddo when we play

I have gotten the , , and rather regretably the .

I ended up picking up the Flameslinger/Drobot/Stump Smash and Legendary Triple Pack. Aside from that, I've skipped them, unfortunately. It seems more cost effective to purchase the Triple Packs, but they're harder to find than the Singles.

I thought about getting the Whirlwind/Double Trouble/Drill Sarge Triple, but when I found all three as Singles in Walmart and not a single Triple Pack in sight, I scooped them up. I just couldn't resist.

I skipped all of them except for:

1.Legendary three pack ( I was able to get it free due to a special that they were having when I bought the game)

2. Prim Break, Voodood, Boomer ( I bought it on the day that I purchased the game so I needed all three characters)

3. Whirlwind, Drill Sergeant, Double Trouble ( I needed Double Trouble from it)

The Whirlwind three pack is pretty good and the Legendary characters are worth while.

I skipped them all except the Legendaries

Couldn't skip any, since we're working on a boxed set. They're all on my son's wall right now, woot.

Prism Break, Boomer, Vodoode- Not my intention. I wasn't there and Mom choose what to buy. The entire triple pack went to my mother, who was interested in playing, so it wasn't really a loss.

At first I was going to get the Camo, Ignitor, Warnado triple, but then we got both Camo and Warnado as singles. My mom wants Ignitor, but we're waiting.

And I was going to get the Whirlwing, Double Trouble, Drill Sergent triple, but then I found Whirlwind as a single, as well as Double Trouble. I didn't see a need for any of the others. So besides those two, I didn't get any.

My wife and I actively sought 3-packs since we were trading games at Gamestop in order to get the critters for our kids. Mostly because they sell them at $20 (unlike TRU @ $25) and Gamestop had some really awesome trade deals at the time. Definately wanted to get as much as we could for the games we were sacrificing. We ended up with the Flameslinger/Drobot/Stump Smash, Wrecking Ball/Stealth Elf/Sonic Boom, Voodood/Prism Break/Boomer, and Zook/Cynder/Lightning Rod packs. The rest of the figures we just happened to find here and there in singles. Of course, as soon as we find all three singles for the others, the 3-pack becomes readily available.

This week I've been mulling over getting the bash 3 pack. He do far is the only character my son and I have played that we really like both paths. So if I get the 3 pack I'll get those other 2 and will have bashes for both paths.

I guess I'll reset drobot and check out his other path and see if I want to do the same, but I doubt that'll be the case. If I get ALL the characters except stump and flameslinger I suppose I might get them as singles way down the line.

I bought the voodood triple for voodood and prism break and the stump smash triple for stump smash, i know i probably should have waited for singles but at the time of my purchase skylanders were almost impossible to find

I've bought none of the three packs, because they all seem to contain characters I'm not that interested in. I don't have a pokemon "catch-them-all" thing going on, so I've been happy just buying singles.

Only pack I bought that had a guy I wasn't too interested in was Empire of Ice. Which turned out ok, as my nephew LOVES Slam-Bam.
