If this game is coming out this year in Autumn, how is the storyline and the concepts are relevant to the Year of the Dragon? smilie I've heard that this game will be out this year just to celebrate the Year of the Dragon but I just don't see how all of this is related to the Chinese Zodiac or this year.

I don't remember hearing about it being because of the YotD. Although, our first game was sort of promoted as such for a bit in the beginning of the year because of all the dragons.

Yeah, but that's for the original game. And that actually was only known for the YotD thing.

I thought the Dragon's Peak was sorta related to the Year of the Dragon.

The Dragon's Peak in the 3DS version has dragon eggs to collect as an objective, and the whole level is dragon-based. It's highly possible.

Sounds like a reference to Spyro 3 as well as the Year of the Dragon itself. The Spyro Wikia website might have mentioned about the Skylanders: Giants being released this year, just to celebrate the Year of the Dragon but I'm not sure if the information is true.

No, the wiki mentioned Dragon's Peak being releasing within the Year of the Dragon, not Giants. The Adventure Pack being dragon-based with dragon NPCs is clear possibility that it was made for the YotD.

Thanks for clearifying things, I just got confused. And here I thought Activision doesn't care about Chinese New Year.
