I rarely see any fans for Wham Shell anywhere (and a few not caring/hate comments), plus he's rarely ever mentioned. It's all "CAMO AND WARNADO GAIZ!!!!!". At least from what I've seen.

The best variant I've seen, with pearl Hex I have to say, this one looks really quite snazzy. Gonna be hard to resist nabbing this guy should I ever be lucky enough to spot him...

I think I am done with variants. I haven't gone gaga over pearl Hex. If I can never have pearl Hex, there's no more reasons to go after variants. Silvers, golds, and Toy Fair Cynder do me just fine.

Also, I refuse to buy anything Skylanders related, like this, until I find Wham Shell. If I can't complete my collection, I don't need to be supporting Skylanders anymore than I already have.

Is that a Mike Gundy reference? I am 35 and yeah, I do a bit of the not so subtle round-housing...unfortunately. Wish it never had to come down to that. But I plan to only poke fun from now on. Sometimes subtle is much more fun.

Age is nothing more than a number, though. I've seen idiotic 60 year olds do some stupid ****, while my 5 year old daughter acts more mature than them.

I've always liked that statement, you stated at the end. It is oh so true. I tend to think people who fight on the net, can only fight on the net. If they walked into a bar and started crap, they'd be beaten to within an inch of their life.

Of course, this is where macho retorters state, "man, I'm down. I can beat anyone's ***. I am built like a tank. I can handle my own. I have been known to whoop blah-blah-blah." Why do you say that? They are all pretty hard to find (early in the process, anyway) unless you can stalk the stores 24-7.

So...when was Lightning Rod and Zook released? The 15th right? Dragon's Peak on the 21st. So, today is the 5th. That means in about 15-20 days there will be easy access to all of the figures. Why is everyone stressing over getting Wham? He'll show up shortly. We are sitting and talking about "retarted" people and well...seems to me the excitement is maybe nice for some...it gives them drive. But wow, it's literally going to be as freely available as any of them in less than 20 days. And same goes for Dragon's Peak.

Guys, Wham-Shell will not be rare. He's a standard figure. He will likely launch with all 3 of the final ones plus Prism Break and Voodood and who knows, maybe even Dark Spyro. Wouldn't that be ironic. But he'll be just as available as any of the others. The print run on each figure is the same. They don't do shorter runs than others. The only limited runs are the collectibles like silver, gold and so on. Stop speculating about it. They just aren't here yet. There'd be more than one on ebay if Wham was available. You're chasing a shadow. Did anyone contact him to ask where he picked it up and if it was the only one he saw? I'm sure if you asked nicely he might give you a bit of info....OOOOR....he possibly got it as a game reviewer from the company as he does live in CA where a lot of that type of media works. for me getting wham shell means im done i can finally take a break no longer calling stores twice a week no more trying to find information on possible skylanders release date i can finally be done atleast till giants comes out...

I was thinking the same thing actually, that it is probably a reviewer selling his preview copy. Although I've been at the TRU in San Rafael which is relatively close to Mill Valley and it is where I saw and took a picture of this a while back when Cynders and Legendary Packs were uncommon to find in stores.

i think it really comes down to which state and city you live in if there rare or not.

He did launch with all three. Don't know your location, but here in OKC, Camos and Warnados are a dime a dozen. Not Wham Shell, and they aren't sending out a second box of Skylanders with the Camo/Warnado assortment.

They ARE here. Maybe not in your state, but in multiple states, from podunk town Colorado, to Texas, Illinois, New Mexico, and even Europe. Camo, Warnado, and Wham Shell are out. Kotaku even mentions this in an article yesterday.

He doesn't work as a game reviewer for a company, because he has sold multiples of the same character. He had one that was Lightning Rod and Ignitor, while he sold a Lightning Rod three pack. If he were reviewing them, he would have only had 1 Lightning Rod. IF he had two, they wouldn't have sent him one in a triple, one in a single. He also never sold a Zook. All were NIB.

So, just sayin', they are out. My theory of one to every few cases is feeling more and more like the correct theory. I hope I am wrong, because that's jacked up on Activision's behalf, because they know everyone needs that last one to be done. They don't want people to be done looking until October.

I know we are almost at the finish line. But why not just kick your feet back and play the game and enjoy life and let the last one fall in your lap when it falls. I can preach this, but my brain tells me to go look...to call and to find them too. I'm like you guys. But I have to remind myself...it will come...and it will come when you least expect it, just and Warnado and Camo did. With all of us here reporting, we'll all get them sooner than later. I think Wham-Shell will be around next week. That's my prediction. I also think TRU has something up their sleeve for this next week. But it's likely nothing great...probably leg 3 packs and the new 2. By week 3 to end of week 3/early week 4 of April we'll see Wham. I also will be glad it's over.

On a sidenote, my TRU had the internal scalper in today and he wouldn't even let us see if they had any gold figures possibly come in and heard him say to the female coworker, "Do they have any in there that I don't have yet." That guy is a class act...I wasn't going to press them to look, but they will never have a gold or silver pop up there...that's for sure...not on his watch at least. SO yes, I can't wait for this to be over. And I am sure that Giants is gonna be easier to collect. Which I am more excited for than the originals...and the reposes will likely be even cooler. It's really only a few months away...enjoy your summer!

I'm not claiming to know anything, but you would think more than 1 Wham-Shell would show up on eBay in the US. My guess was that Activision was releasing the singles of Camo and Warnado now and are planning to release Wham-Shell and the 3 pack with Ignitor next. Like, maybe some Wham-Shells have made it into the wild, but they might be a wider release next? I dunno.

i dont no how i feel about the repose ones i just hope that the rumor about the normal ones not being able to lvl past 10 gets squashed by activision im also eagerly awaiting the reveal of the rest of the new skylanders for giants

I think your intel is wrong GM. Why hasn't anyone else tried to sell them then on ebay? I do see he sold other ones, but why would someone leave Wham on the shelf? He'd stand out like a sore thumb. I shot him a question about it. I'm sure you have too. But we'll see if he responds. I personally think he could have picked it up out of country and brought back multiples...or maybe his supplier is from outside of the states. It's fun to always take shots in the dark...conspiracy theories. They just like to screw with us. They probably said, "Lets do this...we will send out a bunch of boxes and in every 50th box, lets put one Whamshell just to mess with em. It will make them go searching...then demand will be up even more and we'll make em wait...with bated breath...muahahahah..."

I don't think anyone would leave Wham on the shelf. Yet this is the only guy who has it, but has been selling Skylanders constantly over the past months, aparently.

This is why I think Wham is the type that's 1 to every so and so cases. Because, more people would post that their collections are complete, or would post them on Ebay/Craigslist.

Infact, maybe we should see if Craiglist around the San Fran area has listings for Wham Shell.

^ It most likely isn't going to be a Toys'R'us exclusive because I believe that these clear figures are going to be the new golds and silvers (in terms of rarity) due to people easily painting a normal figure gold or silver, it would be more difficult for someone to duplicate a clear figure.
