Author's Note: A revised version of my story. Hopefully it's better now.

Prolouge

On the night of Spyro's birth there was part of the tale that goes untold. The untold tale that hasn't been revealed until now. Ignitus didn't only fled with the purple dragon's egg, but also with a green dragon egg that had a destiny as well.

The red and brown dragon known as Ignitus flapped his wings as hard as he could. He needed to return to the temple to help the others as soon as possible. Of course first he had to get these eggs to safety. Finally he noticed some thick green bushes that would make a good hiding spot. He landed on the ground and hid away the green dragon egg in the bushes before continuing down river, to send the purple dragon egg up it to protect it from the Dark Master's wrath. After he completed his task he flew back as fast as he could to the green dragon egg. Once he returned to the hiding spot, to his surprise the green dragon egg had hatched to reveal a new born green dragoness.

She had a small red mane with yellow highlights on her bangs, which was drooping in front of her eyes slightly. She had a bright green gem on her forehead and dark green markings under her eyes. She had bright green eyes and her wings were pink and gold. The end of her tail was red and shaped like a flame. Her under belly was a bright yellow just like the two horns on her head that were slightly curved toward her face.

Ignitus couldn't help but laugh as the new born dragoness tried to stand up, but sneezed which cause her to fall back down. He then remembered that the dragoness was still in danger. He knew she had a destined task, but because of the current circumstances it was too dangerous for her to be raised at the dragon temple. He need someone that he could trust to inform the dragoness of her destiny when the time comes. Ignitus remembered about a dragon village not too far away. Hopoefully one of the dragons would take the dragonling into their care.

Ignitus knew that this was basically the only thing to insure the new born dragoness knew what she's destined to do. After taking a look around at his surroundings he realized that he was actually in the very location where someone he knew died. Which meant the item he needed to give the dragonling was there. He took a deep breath and leaned down to the new born's level. Ignitus used his claws to dig a hole, and sure enough it revealed a necklace with a single blue gem. He picked it up and lowered it around the dragoness' neck. It glowed very brightly and finally ceased.

"Never let it fall into the hands of darkness young one." Ignitus whispered to her, despite the fact the dragonling might not even remember these words.

With that Ignitus scooped her up and took her to a dragon village he remembered. When he arrived many dragons stopped in their tracks, staring in shock at the guardian. He asked the village if they would protect her until she was old enough to take own her destiny. None of the dragons moved as they muttered discussions under their breath, fearing if they take in the dragonling that the apes would come for them. Finally a silver dragoness walked up to Ignitus.

"I will take her." the silver dragoness said in a soft tone, "I will raise her like a daughter and protect her, even if it will cost my life.

Ignitus nodded before gently handing over the green dragonling to her. The silver dragoness sat down on the ground and curled her tail around the dragonling. The new born dragoness yawned, loving the warmth surrounding her body.

"May the ancestors protect you." Ignitus said gently.

The new born dragoness stared upon this somehow understanding. As Ignitus left the new born glanced at the gem on her necklace before falling asleep peacefully.

When Ignitus returned Cyril who was a blue ice dragon, Terrador which was a green earth dragon, and Volteer who was a yellow electric dragon were all defeated by the army of apes. Ignitus tried to fight, but unfortunately he was defeated as well. Ignitus glanced up to see a huge ape with a green eye known as Gaul snarling at him while he was holding a black dragon egg in his hand.

He was fixing to say something until until an ape came running holding a snarling new born dragon by his neck. The dragon was gray with a purple under belly, purple and black wings, a white mane, and two whites horns that bent outward from his face. Gaul walked over the dragon and exmained him.

The new born glared at the ape with fiery red eyes full of hate. At that moment Gaul saw there was a huge cut over the dragon's right eye. It was bleeding badly and surprisingly his eye was unharmed. He glanced over to Cyril who was now fully conscious.

He lowered his head when Gual saw the blood on his claws. Apparently the dragon was born during the raid and when Cyril tried to hit one ape it dodged, causing Cyril's claw to create the cut over the new born's eye. Gual formed an evil smile on his face and began to laugh. Once he finished he took the gray dragon by the neck and left the temple both with the egg and the dragon.

Meanwhile another new born dragoness was born. She was a golden-yellow with blue eyes and red and orange wings. She was in an underground, deserted area of the temple because during the raid her egg was knocked down and fell through a giant crack. The apes assumed it smashed when it hit the ground, but it was a miracle that it didn't. The dragoness began to cry softly from the fear entering her heart, seeing she was alone.

Just then an evil voice asked "Are you frightened?"

The dragoness couldn't understand what the figure was saying, but unconsciously she nodded her head.

"Then if you wish to have comfort go to the darkness. It shall take away your loneliness." the voice replied.

The dragoness glanced to her left and saw the dark tunnel. The dragonling began walking down this path, seeing where the mysterious, dark path would lead to. She continued walking until she saw a faint purple portal.

"Step into the portal. There you shall meet me. I promise you that you'll never be alone. The light gives you loneliness the darkness takes it away." the voice said.

The dragoness glanced back at the tunnel where she could see a faint light at the end. Finally she turned her attention back to the portal. She felt drawn and memorized by it, so finally she stepped into the portal, with it closing behind her.

Chapter 1

It was now a few months after Malefor's defeat. Spyro who a purple dragon with a yellow underbelly, two yellow horns, and white and peach wings was laying on the ground tapping his claws in annoyance that he was bored. He knew it was a good thing he defeated Malefor or the world would have been destroyed, but now he had nothing to do since no one was in trouble. All he wanted was some excitement that could happen, be like how it was when he learned his destiny three years ago.

He continued tapping his claws until he saw Cynder who was a black dragon with a red underbelly, four large silver horns and two small silver horns, black and red wings, wearing silver collars around her neck and legs, with a blade on the end of her wings and tail walk up to him.

"Still bored out of your mind?" she asked in a sarcastic tone.

"Big time." he groaned.

Cynder shook her head and sat next down to Spyro. Ever since she had revealed her feelings to Spyro they have gotten very close. He was kind to her and never gave up on her despite her dark past.

Finally Cynder said "Spyro consider a break cause I mean we were frozen for three years, Ignitus sacrificed himself so we can continue on to defeat Malefor, and we almost died."

Spyro glanced at Cynder and sighed. Apparently he thought a few months of nothing happening was way too long. Before they could say anything else the silence was broken by a roar in pain filling the air.

"Finally some action!" he exclaimed.

With in an instant the two took off in the direction that they heard the roar come from. When they arrived they saw a gray dragon and a golden-yellow dragoness fighting a green dragoness. They had landed many injuries on the green dragoness. Cynder narrowed her eyes at the two, feeling like she had seen them before. Shaking off the thought, she snapped back into reality when she saw the green dragoness get slammed to the ground by the gray dragon.

"Spyro she needs our help!" Cynder exclaimed.

Spyro nodded his head in agreement, but before they could make a move the green dragoness breathed fire at the grey dragon, burning him. The gray dragon roared in pain and quickly doused out a flame o his tail. The green dragoness then quickly spun with ice incircling her and used it to hit the the golden-yellow dragoness. The golden-yellow dragoness tumbled back from the attack and hit the ground hard.

After that the dragon and dragoness quickly retreated. The green dragoness was breathing hard, doing that combo wasted her energy when it was already dangerously low, finally she took a deep breath and collapsed. Spyro and Cynder quickly ran over to her to make sure she was okay. When they got there they saw she was still conscious.

Spyro asked "How could you master more than one element?"

The dragoness opened her mouth to answer, but ended up passing out instead. Spyro got annoyed his answer to his question had to wait, but he knew the important thing now was to get the dragoness back to the temple for help.

Spyro grabbed the dragoness by fore legs and hauled her onto his back. This made Cynder extremely angry since they hardly knew this dragoness. She then realized that she was actually feeling jealous. Cynder snorted at the thought of her having such a awful, disgusting feeling. Spyro wondered why Cynder snorted just then, but decided to ignore it.

"Cynder make sure she doesn't fall off will ya?" Spyro asked.

Cynder glared at Spuro, but agreed anyway. It was difficult, but Spyro managed to carry the dragoness all the way to the dragon temple. Once he got there he collapsed on the floor from exhaustion. Volteer came walking up and he noticed the green dragoness.

"Who's this?" he asked.

"A dragoness we found that was attacked. We brought her back her to get her wounds taken care of." Cynder replied.

Spyro slowly slid the dragoness off his back and that's when he noticed a necklace around the dragoness' neck with a single blue gem. When Volteer saw this he gasped.

"It's her. After all these years she has finally come." he said.

"Wait a sec I'm confused. What do you mean she has finally come?" Spyro asked.

"Well Spyro." he started. "You weren't the only one hidden away at the night of your birth. You see on that same night Ignitus fled with her egg as well. Malefor was seeking her because she was prophesied to wear and protect the gem she has now."

"What's the big deal about the gem?" Spyro asked.

"It is a powerful item. If it fell in wrong hand it could mean the destruction of her and her brother." Volteer explained.

"If she has a brother then he's in grave danger." Cynder exclaimed.

"Then we need to find him." Spyro said.

"That is not necessary Spyro." replied Volteer.

"Why?" he asked in confusion.

With a smile Volteer answered "Spyro meet your sister."

"What?!" Spyro exclaimed.

Chapter 2

"M-My sister?" Spyro stuttered.

Volteer nodded slowly. Spyro began breathing hard, his surroundings seemed silent and his mind went blank. He almost felt like he was going to faint. Here lying before him was his sister from his biological family, the family he believed was dead and he would never get to see. Cynder was relieved that discovering the unconscious dragoness was Spyro's sister, that she felt sorry for Spyro since this discovery was sudden and he was trying to comprehend it.

"Spyro." Volteer started, awakening Spyro from his state of shock, "Did you say that she used more than one element?"

"Yeah. I thought only purple dragons can wield more than one element?" Spyro replied.

"Yes Spyro you are correct, she is only a earth dragon, but as you know dragons can gain the ability to wield more than one element if something is exposed to them, like how Cynder was able to use more than one element because of her exposure to the darkness." Volteer answered.

"So exactly what was exposed to her to give her the ability to use more than one element?" Cynder asked.

"The gem hanging from the necklace that you see around her neck." Volteer replied.

Spyro and Cynder glanced at the small blue gem, finding hard to believe that such a small jewel could grant a dragon the ability to control more than one element.

"Actually the gem does not have powers as strong as the ones of a purple dragon, but is strong enough to attract the attention of dark forces. So the dragoness would be hunted down for the item she possesses." Volteer stated.

"Can't we just take it off her neck?" Cynder asked.

"I'm afraid not." he replied. "You see once the gem was placed around her neck the energy from the gem began flowing through her body, granting her it's powers, allowing her to master more than one element. Over the years her body started to depend on the gem in order to keep it's energy up. So the molecular structure of the gem fused with her genectic structure to allow her body's energy not to wear down badly when she uses her powers."

"Huh?" Cynder asked in confusion, not able to understand what the elder dragon explained.

"He means the gem can't be removed. It's apart of her." Spyro explained.

"Spyro you'll need to watch over your sister from this point on. The attack today on her maybe only the beginning."**

Spyro nodded, understanding the risks. With that done Volteer left the room. The purple dragon looked down examined the green dragoness that was claimed to be his sister. She looked the age that he was. Her breathing was soft and look like she slept calm. Without thinking Spyro laid down next to her and placed his head on top of her's. He figured it was a brotherly instinct. Ten minutes had passed, the green dragoness slowly began opening her eyes. **Seeing this Spyro got off of her so she could get up. She looked at her surroundings until finally her eyes landed on Spyro. She stared at him with eyes full of curiosity.

"Where am I?" she asked.

"You're in the Dragon Temple that got built in Avalon after the first one got destroyed." Spyro answered.

"Thank you, but who are you?" she replied.

"I'm Spyro, your..." he hesitated, wondering if he should tell her, though only a few second to continue, "Your brother."

The green dragoness stared in shock. She placed her claws on her head trying to take in the fact that the purple dragon before her was her brother.

"I-I can't believe it. I thought all of my family was dead, but here standing before me is my brother, Spyro the purple dragon." she said in a shocked voice.

Finally without warning she instantly hugged Spyro, not sure what to do Spyro decided to hug back.

When she let go she smiled and said "My name is Star."

Seeing she was quiet for long enough to let the two have their moment Cynder decided to speak up.

"I'm Cynder." she Introduced.

Star smiled. She winced slightly as she tried to stand. Her injuries were not fully healed.

"Who were those two that attacked you?" Spyro asked.

Star simply shrugged to answer. Cynder was deep into thought. She thought back to her corrupted past. She remembered a gray dragon and a yellow-orange dragoness. They were always ready for Malefor's orders to them and when Gaul was in charge they left refusing to serve no one else, but Malefor. Finally it all clicked.

"Scar and Phoenix!" she exclaimed.

"Who?" Star and Spyro asked in unison.

Somewhere else Scar and Phoenix approached a purple crystal. Instantly the image of Malefor appeared. The dragon and dragoness bowed before the corrupted purple dragon.

"Master preparations are almost complete." Scar stated.

"Soon you shall be able to return." Phoenix stated.

"Good. And what of the dragoness Star?" Malefor asked his two servants.

"We tried to sieze her, but she managed to attract the attention of Spyro and Cynder." said Pheonix.

Malefor clenched his teeth in anger.

"I was afraid of this. Phoenix. Scar. Complete the preparations and then I shall give you your new orders." Malefor replied.

"We shall not fail Master." Phoenix and Scar said in unison as they bowed their heads.

Chapter 3

"Do you have any idea what they're up to?" Spyro asked.

"There's no telling what they'll do." Cynder replied, "Scar and Phoenix can be very unpredictable with their actions, especially Scar."

"Well whatever it is, it can't be good, so we need to stop them from completing their task." Star stated.

"Maybe we can seek help from the Chronicler." Cynder suggested.

"We can't do that, I was unconscious when I ended up at the Celestial Caves of the White Isle, so I don't know where his temple is. The only way I know of to talk to him is through dreams, but he contacted me and I don't know how to contact him." Spyro explained.

"Maybe there is a way you can." Star started, "There's a mystic spring not far from the village I grew up in. They say the spring holds magical attributes that even granted a dragon powers to use more than one element once. Maybe it can grant you the ability to speak through dreams."

"It's a small chance, but the only one we got of contacting the Chronicler." Spyro replied.

They were fixing to leave until a familiar yellow dragonfly known as Sparx came. Cynder sighed in annoyance when she heard the familiar buzzing from Sparx come up. Star eyes widened in shock, she had never seen a dragonfly before. She had heard about them, but never seen them. Sparx turned at took notice of the shocked, green dragoness staring at him.

"Hey Spyro who's this? Hopefully a replacement girlfriend." he joked, gesturing toward Star.

Cynder rolled her blue eyes, knowing Sparx had used the replacement girlfriend joke a million times. Star on the other hand took it seriously and turned pale.

"No! Why would I... He... I'm... Why you... It's so weird... How can you..." Star blabbered out of nervousness and shock, trying to figure why the dragonfly before her suggested that.

Sparx stared in confusion at her, wondering if she even knew he was joking.

"Sparx this is my sister Star." Spyro **said.

Cynder patted Star and the shoulder and told her to calm down that Sparx makes jokes like that all the time

"That just..." Sparx started, though then stopped when what Spyro said had sunk in.

Sparx went wide eyed and stared at Star and then stared back at Spyro.

"Sister?! When did this happen?" he **exclaimed, confused at what he just had been told.

"We found her and shortly Volteer told us." Spyro answered.

Sparx looked like he was about to faint, he tapped his fingers together as he tried to comprehend this fact, finally he calmed down when it clicked in his head.

"Well I guess I should expected you would somehow have a long lost sister with all that has happened. Heck she's even pretty hot too." the yellow dragonfly said with a grin.

Sparx slapped his hands over his mouth **Star stared in shock once again.

"Does weird stuff always come out of his mouth?" Star finally asked.

"Yes." Spyro and Cynder asked in unison.

Sparx crossed his arms and got a look of insult. He never believed that he says weird things.

"Well that makes me feel better, a little I think." Star replied.

Star decided to ignore the akward feeling and get ready to head to their location. The three dragons spread there wings, got a running start, and took to the air. Sparx quickly went after them. Star flew to the front of the group so she could lead the way. Though she couldn't help, but worry about what Scar and Phoenix were planning.

Meanwhile at the remains of what was known as the Mountain of Malefor, also known as the Well of Souls, there was no life except for two certain dragons. Scar and Phoenix dug and shoved away the rocky remains, searching for something that would aid their plans.

"Still no sign of it." Scar snarled.

Phoenix yelped as a rock fell on to her claws, causing blood to come forth from them. She lifted up her claws on examined her injuries. Despite that it looked bad, Phoenix refused to stop, in her mind psychical pain is nothing compared to the pain of being alone. Scar dug, his white claws scrapping against the rocks, finally he found something. He pulled up to reveal a dark purple crystal in his claws. It was a dark crystal.

"Looks like things are moving smoothly." he smirked to himself.

Back with the others, Spyro, Cynder, Star, and Sparx were now in dark woods. Star was no longer leading the group and let her brother head of her.

"Have you ever been in the spring before?" Cynder asked Star, wondering why the green dragoness was no longer leading.

Star shook her head and replied**"The village spoke of a powerful guardian that guards the spring."

"G-G-Guardian." Sparx gulped.

All sudden Spyro got smacked by something that hit him at full force causing him to slid across the ground. Sparx screamed and hid behind Cynder hoping he would be protected. Spyro slowly stood back up, ready to face what attacked him.

I have three questions for you, Star:
1. Is the village where Star live before is a dragon village?
2. Who/what has attacked Spyro?
3. Will you continue this story?

Last thing I want to say is 'Nice chapter'

1. Yes it's a dragon village. I tossed in some elements from Spyro A Hero's Tail.
2. Who attacked Spyro will be revealed in the next chapter.
3. Yes. Got the whole thing planned out.

Chapter 4

Spyro saw before him a blue male dragon around his age. He was blue with a white underbelly. He had two red horns shaped just like Spyro's. His wings were red and white. The end of his tail was shaped like waves and was red. His eyes were blue and the scales surrounding his left eye was black. Finally he had razor sharp teeth and one big sharp fang on his lower set of teeth that stuck out when he closes his mouth.

"Who are you?" the blue dragon snarled.

"I'm Spyro. We mean you no harm." Spyro answered.

"Huh so you're the famous purple dragon." the dragon replied with his eyes narrowed, the tone of anger in his voice.

Star did not like the tone of this dragon's voice and she did not like the fact he showed hatred toward them when they just met him. The blue dragon glanced at her, his blue eyes making contact with her's.

"Listen we need to get to the spring in this forest." Spyro pointed out.

"Yeah right." the dragon snapped. "I don't trust you. I don't trust purple dragons and I especially don't trust you since you befriended that beast there known as Cynder."

Cynder clenched her teeth in anger. She was fixing to attack, but Star held her back. She knew if she were to attack that would make things worse. Spyro was angry too that the dragon called Cynder a beast, but he knew he had to stay calm.

"What is it going to take to for us to get past you?" Spyro demanded.

"A fight." the dragon answered.

"Geesh! Why does everywhere we go we always have to fight someone?" Sparx yelled, annoyed at the fact he said was true, everybody always seems to want to fight Spyro or lock him up.

"Aw come on Sparx have faith. Since when have I ever lost a battle?" Spyro smirked.

"I can think of a few." Sparx replied.

Sparx instantly clamped his mouth shut when he saw the death glare he was getting from Spyro.

"Are we going to fight or what?" the dragon asked in an annoyed tone.

Spyro nodded to answer. With that the dragon charged at him. Spyro dodged the dragon easily and then blasted fire at him, but to Spyro's surprise the dragon blasted water, putting out the fire. Spyro now knew the dragon was a water dragon and that fire attacks were useless against him.

"Aw come on Spyro this guy is going to be easy!" Sparx yelled." Since when does water hurt anyone?"

Just then Spyro got slammed full force into a boulder by the water the dragon blasted. Spyro got up and his shoulder was stinging with pain where the water had slammed into him.

"I take it back! He's tough to beat! Tough to beat!" Sparx yelled.

Since fire was useless Spyro decided to use the one element he knew he had an advantage with. The blue dragon blasted his water again, but instead of using fire like last time, Spyro breathed ice at the water, freezing it. The blue dragon's eyes widen, seeing his main element is useless against the element of ice. Though to his surprise the dragon changed strategies and blasted light at him.

"What even he can control more than one element?!" Sparx exclaimed.

"It must have been the spring. Any dragon can gain more than one element if they been exposed to a type of power, like how my exposure to darkness gave me my powers and like how the gem gave Star the ability to control more than one element." Cynder stated.

Spyro and the dragon began to circle eachother, waiting for one of them to make the first move. Finally the blue blast a gust of air at Spyro. Luckily he was able to dodge and counter act with his lightning. The attack hit the blue dragon and knocked him away. Spyro ran up to the dragon to see if he was down, but he did not have enough time to react when the blue dragon blasted ice at him. The purple dragon slid across the ground. He tried to get up, but the blue dragon held him down with his claws on his neck.

"Say goodbye purple dragon." he snarled.

Spyro's eyes widen when he saw the dragon was going to blast ice at his head. He closed his purple eyes tightly though instead of an attack he heard a roar of pain. He opened his eyes to see the blue dragon no longer had him pinned down, because he had his fore leg that he was using lifted and some blood coming out of a fresh wound. Spyro wondered who injured the water dragon till he saw his sister in a defensive stance with blood on her mussel.

"Don't you dare hurt my brother." she snarled.

The blue dragon did not reply, but stared at the green dragoness in complete shock.

"Spyro are you okay?" Cynder asked as she ran up to him.

"Yeah I'm fine." he answered, rubbing his neck where he had been pinned down.

The blue dragon finally snapping out of his shock lowered his head.

"You have defeated me purple dragon. You and you're companions have gained accesss to the spring." he said.

He lifted his head and turned away from them.

"I will lead the way." he said without even looking at them.

"By the way what's your name?" Spyro asked as he stood up.

The water dragon's blue eyes glanced back at Spyro and he answered "Jake."

"Oh that's nice to now to know the name of our attacker." Sparx said sarcastically.

The water dragon glared at the yellow dragonfly and turned away.

"While I lead you there I want to speak to the dragoness that managed to draw blood from me when she bit my leg." he said.

Star was unsure about talking to him. She turned toward Spyro and he nodded, suggesting that she better do what he says. The green dragons swallowed hard and walked up next to the blue dragon. With that they began to head for the Enchanted Spring. No body dared to say anything as the made their way toward their destination. At times Star would glance at Jake, but look away when he turned toward her.

Finally Jake broke the silence by saying "After you wounded me you said you were the sister of the purple dragon."

"Yes I am." Star replied.

"You seem to trust him a lot even though you barely know him." Jake replied in a cold tone.

"I don't need to know a lot of things about him to know he's a good dragon." she said, a bit angry at the tone Jake said that sentence in.

Star held her breath when Jake glanced at her with his deep blue eyes.

"You know according to legend a dragoness lost her life because she trusted him." Jake said.

He turned away from her and didn't say another word, leaving Star to wonder what dragoness he was talking about and what he meant by when he said him.
