Can these figures still be found in stores or were they only available for a limited time?

I found a gold flameslinger and gold drill sargeant at my local TRU. So no you can find them in stores... Just might take a while.

Originally, they came out when the wave that included them were out. However, as indicated by a few people, they seem to be releasing more of them into stores with restock.

That's personally really awesome. But they're still pretty uncommon.

I heard that the silver Skylanders are being discontinued and I've noticed less of them on eBay. I'm probably just slow, but are the silver ones getting discontinued?
I mean, I see plenty of gold ones, but I haven't seen many silvers at all.

LOL, what's the deal with people selling custom painted gold/silver Skylanders on eBay right now? I've seen a few listings already where they've opened the packaging, painted the figure and then resealed the package to make it look like it's straight from the factory. ...is there really actually a market for this? ...at least in the listings I've seen, they don't try to pass them off as the real thing...still priced ridiculously though.

I don't think so much discontinued as not readily available. Since they were part of Wave 2 and all.
There's been a few reports of cases coming in with the restocks at stores with golds and silvers coming in, so the way I see it is that they're still putting more of them out. (In all honesty, it'd be nice if they had more of them out and made them a bit more common. It'd drive the ridonkulous prices on ebay for them down, which is always a good thing)

I'm wondering if blue bash will be rare like golds or silvers.

Golds and Silvers are extremely rare (relatively speaking compared to a basic figure). I was just talking with someone at Walmart and they said they've only seen one come through their stock and they get a LOT of figures.

I look often and I've never seen one on the shelves of any store or in any delivered stock I've gotten to skim through before being put out.

It is funny how it works as a local store to me got two gold Drill Sarges in a shipment.

They are certainly much smaller than a Walmart in terms of throughput!
