I went to TRU today.. long line.. no new skylanders.. waited until all boxes were open and they put out the blue bashs. I was able to get a couple. They were not expected to be out until sunday... check your TRUs

i dont get it, i have never seen GM do anything bad to anyone, why is everyone always jumping on him? because he has a collection that "takes away from what others can get"? thats stupid, if he can afford to buy 5 of each character, let him. i have a sneaker collection and i usually double up on them, which is the same principal, but i had the resources to get what i wanted so i did. everyone should just let the guy do his thing. he has helped a lot of people here, so **** off.

GameMaster I think it is great that you help others out. So what if you want 5 characters for you to collect. I know once you got yours you would do what you could to help others out. I think makes you a good person.

Their immature actions just add to the fact that I ask for help and it seems to go ignored. I mean sure, people send me PM's saying they will help. However, actions speak louder than words. I haven't seen one bit of action yet, that hasn't costed me more than what any figure is worth.

See, that's the thing. The 5 I got took away from no one. 5 out of 18+ of each character? That's nothing. A day later, I drove a total of 40 miles, to three different Gamestops, just to help others. Not ONE PERSON HERE has done that for others. I have. Everyone I know got what they wanted, plus I helped two people here I don't know a thing about. Yet, some people here want to pretend I am robbing people's chances?

Thanks. Like I stated above, once I got mine, I didn't back down and say, "Phew. Got what I wanted. **** everyone else." Instead, I drove 40 miles (maybe more), to help others. That's gas, waste of free time, and a loss of a dollar per figure I sell to help others. One of the Zook's I bought that day, was GIVEN to a friend for free, because I was lucky, so I felt he should be lucky as well.

I see a lot of senseless bashing here. Who cares if GM has five of each Skylander? If he has money and drive to do that, then that's what he'll do. We shouldn't be trying to dictate what the "appropriate number of Skylanders" to have is. I know that GM seems a little... Interesting when a new wave is coming out, but I'm sure it's anxiety speaking. I know if I had a collection like he does, I'd want to make sure it's completed.

Now concerning GM's helpfulness: I contacted him yesterday asking if he either had or could get ahold of a Lightning Rod for me because they're very scarce in the Sunshine State. Less than an hour later, he contacted me back saying he had one. He even went so far as to assure me that it was in good condition (not that I doubted). I asked him how much and he gave me a solid break of $15, including shipping, which is definitely him losing money. I took him up on it and he shipped it today, even going so far as to tell me when he'd ship it. GM did me a solid even when I haven't been able to send him a single figure ever. I've seen him help out other members, so I know I'm not the only one here.

I think people are just getting worked up over nothing.

See, if I wanted, I could attack those who attack me, by really saying I do more to contribute to this site than them. However, I don't. I don't tell people here that they should or shouldn't ask for help.

If anyone here had more than I did, I still wouldn't say, "you shouldn't ask for help, because you have more than others." That's a bunch of bull.

Obviously, Skylanderdad has multiple blue Bash's. I don't. I asked if he could sell me one, but I guess it fell on deaf ears. Asking helps me to determine who I should and shouldn't help in the future. Those who deliberately attack others, while not contributing, and those who ignore others pleas for help. Then again, it's just a buzzkill, to realize I'm driving a total of 40 miles around my city, busting my *** for people I don't know, but when I need help, no one's ever thinking about me.

Now people know, but will forget when and if they see those figures before me. Why is it I never forget what others ask for here, which leads me to keeping them in my mind? I assume it's people who don't really care to help others. If others say, "well, I have a busy life," tell me how many are parents of three, have a fiancee who is always bringing them down, have friends always backstabbing them, has a house to upkeep, bills to pay, is looking for Skylanders for themself, but still manages to drive 40 miles out of whatever freetime they have, just to think about others?

It's easy to get mad over words, when all you do is bust your *** for others, only to be met with heckle or just flat out be ignored.

As for my small army helping me, I won't do that this Sunday for blue Bash. Instead, I am staying at home. If anyone wishes to help me, please do. That's the only way I'm getting one, is if someone helps. I want to see if someone will and after all the help I've provided, there isn't a **** thing wrong with wanting to see if the favor is ever returned. I'm done, son.

Err...according to Skylanderdad's profile page, he hasn't been on since 10:45; about 10 minutes after he posted the thread. I'm sure you'll get a reply when he gets back, granted the thread hasn't close.

In preventing that, back to the topic, I called my cousin and she said our TRU does not have them in yet. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but ALL stores are getting these in, right? Not just TRU?

Hmm..I'm gonna call a few other stores. Hopefully I can snag some from somewhere other than TRU...I've grown a certain distaste for them recently.

I think that helping people is a great thing to do GM. You have helped lots of people around here and that was very kind of you. You deserve to get that Blue Bash. If anyone does find one extra spare they should post it to GM, if you don't want it. He has done lots for many people on the forums.

I may not be helping others, but I do my best to spread the word about where they can find them when I do see them...to the point I made a facebook page dedicated to all the ones I came across.

I give updates daily for the Northwest that I've seen. And I scour the online for deals and repost what I see elsewhere. I rarely will ask for help and shipping usually kills me for sending other people stuff. What's the cheapest way to ship?

I appreciate GM's efforts, even if often he's perceived as greedy. And I don't know if you owe Moni money, but it's 10 bucks...paypal him it and tell him good enough...it's just money... I think it's great if someone can coordinate assembling 7 sets. That's impressive. Overkill, but to each their own. Can't blame GM for being passionate about what he does.

Ambition is something a lot of people here could use a little more of anyways. Why settle for mediocrity if you can exceed expectations? I built an entire set on about 60-80 dollars. 2nd set is almost done too. 2 sets will run me about 200 bucks after all is said and done.

Well, I can't say what I do and don't deserve in life. I would like to have a blue Bash. It would be nice to know someone would like to help out. I can't force anyone to, however. All I can do, is go off what others do. If others don't like to help, but I find myself helping more than anyone else, maybe I should change that.

I have one on preorder through toysrus.com. However, everyone keeps saying their Skylanders came in the mail damaged, due to only being throwin in bubble mailers. I need a blue Bash to hang on my wall, and it does me no good if it's damaged.

I didn't really mean to say Skylanderdad is ignoring me. However, I mean when I ask for help in general. It either goes unnoticed, or forgotten, or I get my chops busted for asking (haters gonna hate).

As I said, I'm not going to TRU Sunday, for blue Bash. I know for a fact one of my local stores have them and are saving them for Sunday, but I'm not going. I'm just gonna chill and see what fate has in store for me and blue Bash.

big deal you help other people get skylanders, actually so have i (as have others on here). i even fedex express shipped 2 skylanders from england to the usa for a total stranger that i noticed on facebook didn't have the ones for his son that i had spare ... and how much did i ask him to pay me? NOTHING and i what did i expect anything in return NOTHING. the difference is when i give away skylanders i don't go posting all over forums about it (oops, i just have).

The one employee tried to tell me today that they get everything later than everywhere else. I corrected him, as I have seen out TRU get things the same time, and sometimes sooner...and in larger quantities. They are just BS liars at this point...I really think they don't want to help those that chase them...but to just help those lucky enough to walk in when they put em out. This is such a double edge sword situation for me. I did get my brown bash today which I didn't have for set 2. So now I only need a few more and I'm set.

TRU doesn't have stock, but people should check Walmarts. A total of two of my crapton of Walmarts netted me the Zooks, Lightning Rods, Cynder, and Ignitor you see. The DT I've always had, as well as the L-3-Packs and L-Trigg.



The two Walmarts I hit up, got in 48 singles. They got these in early this morning, too. No one bought any of the 8 Zooks or L. Rods each store got.

I bought them with the intent on helping others. No clue who and no clue when, as I'm just a tad ****** at the moment for being attacked for asking people for help. Nothing wrong with needing help. Just because I'm Gamemaster, doesn't make me anything more or less than anyone else here. Perhaps I bought these with the intent to start helping again, as soon as I can finally get some help.

Oh, and Tigster. I've seen your movie before. I don't care what you think of me. You pretty much made up your mind. If I was stroking that nerdy internet term you just used, I would say "help me, I'm Gamemaster, I deserve it. I deserve all before others because I have the greatest Skylander collection in the world."

Problem with you, girl, is you seem to have selective viewing. Nowhere do you mention how I've told people who may only have upward of three Skylanders, that their collection is just as good as mine. Nowhere do you see me agree with the person above who said I DESERVE one of those blue Bash's. I instead say I can't say what I do or don't deserve in life. That's God's call, homeskillet, not mine.

That's why I never try and convince you. You're in all honesty, the last person I care who thinks what about me. Sometimes I would dare say you need to look in the mirror at your own faults, before going after the faults you see in others. That's for me to say, though.

As for stroking my ego, as you put it, there is nothing wrong with being confident in whatever site I put together. Fact is, not many choose to cover Skylanders only. Pennyman covers all games. This site focuses on Spyro as a whole. Geekdad at Wired covers all games. Skydad covers Skylanders only, which is cool. He will be able to focus on one thing, as will I. However, in having two open sets, plus a sealed set, I can take a lot of pics people can only borrow from other sites or stock photos. I can also give in depth analysis' on each Skylander down both paths, plus strats on how each plays on each different version, while listing version differences for each down each path, when it comes to PVP. Not to mention video reviews of each Skylander down each path, as well as how they play against each Skylander down each path in PVP. I also plan on doing complete playthroughs of the HD and Wii versions of the game, as well as offer speedruns through levels in order to help people get the time objective on each level. Live figure reviews and unboxings top it off. If that doesn't scream "hey, he may have the makings of an excellent resource site for all things Skylanders," then that's foolish logic. If someone else does it before I do, that's what I will have to say about their site.

Blue bash is NOT blue in the game. He is the same as regular bash. We got him a couple of weeks ago.
