I'm also a little upset that they're making the sequel so soon. But this isn't the first time Activision has seriously disappointed me.

I'm not actually sad, but im happy because i really like skylanders but re-modeling all 24 skylanders!? (with 4 lightforce so 28) It would have been fine if they just had the new 8 giants and 8 new characters

The remodeled versions aren't so much an issue as they are a hassle and insulting. You guys may not think they had a sequel in the works but they did (practically, everything has a sequel planned just in case they can milk it). If it's true and they really are saying "oh, you need to rebuy the original characters if you want them leveled up", then they are truly slapping us in the face.

Agreed. Jeez, what if that were to actually happen? I can guarantee it would turn out to be a failure and then it would become rare and then people start charging $100 - $500 for copies of the game AND the skylanders! Its a parent's nightmare either way.
