Here's my skylanders fan fic . It takes place in between the first game and giants.
Also if anyone has fancharacters they can be in the fanfic, just tell about them.


Prologue
After the banishment of the evil portal master Kaos: Skylands was at peace. The Core was rebuilt, the mabu were having, the skylanders could relax, and Hugo wasn't nervous. However in the outlands Glumshanks, Kao's butler, was talking with a personal friend of Kaos discussing how bring him back to skylands.

"So you think if you reabsorb the eternal sources from the core of light you could bring lord kaos back?" asked Glumshanks nervously. He was talking to a dinosaur like creature, the same size as kaos, with a purple cloak and magic wand.

"Of course Glumshanks, Kaos is like a brother to me and i want him back more than any... well we're the only ones that want him back." reassured the dinosaur grinning evilly.

"Thank you master Ripto but, will your Riptocs be strong enough against the skylanders?" asked Glumshanks seeing a riptoc bang its head on the wall.

"Hm... you have a point." pondered Ripto. "I hate having to ask a dragon for help but, i've got a trunk card just in case the riptocs fail." Ripto turned around to see his too main minions Crush a big blue riptoc with wings and Gulp a green riptoc with jet packs/rocket launchers. "Crush, Gulp! get the airship were going on field trip to the ruins!"

"Oh Boy i love fields trips!" yelled Gulp in excitement. Ripto did a facepalm while walking to his head quarters with Glumshank behind him

Good.

RIPTOS BACK WITH GULP AND CRUSH GASP

Ch.1:Attack on the core!

At the ruins the Spyro, Cynder, Gill Grunt, and Trigger Happy were at the beach trying to find something to do.

“We could mess with some sheep.” suggested Spyro.

“Did that already.” said Gill Grunt yawning.

“How about we go to the ruins of Kaos’ castle and take his gold!?!” asked Trigger Happy.

“There’s no gold left.” said Gill Grunt. He began to look up at some strange clouds.

“Why are we the only skylanders with nothing to do?” asked Cynder getting bored.

“Maybe its because we don’t have any apprentices to train.” said Spyro. He noticed Gill Grunt was staring off into space. “Gill, whats up?”

“I think its that time of the month again.” Gill Grunt pointed to some dark clouds and a floating fortress.

“No way Kaos returned!?!” said Cynder surprised. Spyro looked at the clouds more closely and saw a familiar dinosaur head.

“It’s not Kaos but, I have a bad feeling I know who it is.” Spyro and the others ran to the core of light and saw Hugo, and Cali gazing a the clouds to.

“What in the name of Eon is going on?” asked Hugo.

“Some goon from the outlands wants to take us on.” said Cynder confident.

“Well it can’t be Kaos since Hugo banished him.” said Cali.

“And Hektore since he was destroyed with the dark mirror.” Everyone turned around to see Stealth Elf. Gill Grunt was about to ask how she got her. “Portal dude.” Just then Sun Burn, Lightning Rod, Sparx, Hex, and Zook came off a portal.

“Uh… is this everyone that’s going to be here?” asked Spyro confused that there’s only 8 skylander and a wee dragonfly. Hex nodded.

“Everyone else are busy at the moment.” Everyone turned to face the flying fortress. Then a giant floating head appeared in the shape of Ripto!

“Wll if it isn’t my old nemesis, Spyro!” said Ripto while laughing like maniac. “I bet you weren’t planning to see your buddy Ripto again!?!”

“Since you fell in lava, exploded, and fell in lava again… I thought you would’ve been dead.” smirked Spyro. Everyone was surprised all of that happened to Ripto.

“Well I’ve heard what you demons did to my pal Kaos, so I’m here to bring him back!” smirked Ripto.

“That’s impossible!” said Hugo. “Only a portal master could bring Kaos back now, and the last time I checked Dinosaurs have the lowest magical abilities of anything.”

“Oh Shut Up! Rhynocs battle these skylander!” yelled Ripto. Every riptoc he had jumped down to the ruins. Spyro and the other skylander along with Cali charged into battle. Hugo ran to the core of light.

“Okay Hugo, you used this to banish Kaos, so I can use it to send this Ripto to wherever Kaos went.” Hugo began punching in coordinates until he saw a big shadow on him. He turned around to see Crush with his big club patting it in his hand. “Gulp”

“No, I’m Crush!” yelled Crush as he knocked out Hugo with his club. “Yo Gulp, bring that energy drainer pipe over here!” Gulp gave the pipe to Crush and the energy of the core was being sucked into Ripto’s Fortress.

---In the Fortress.

“Master Ripto your plan is working!” said Glumshanks in excitement.

“Never doubted it for a minute.” smiled Ripto. “Now as long as Gulp doesn’t mess anything up everything will run smoothly."

----On the battle field….

“Ya know Spyro, fighting these rhino guys is pretty fun!” said Trigger Happy crushing 12 rhynocs with his gold coin.”

“It brings me back before I joined the skylanders.” smiled Spyro remembering his epic adventures.

“buzz buzz buzz” said Sparx to show spyro Crush and Gulp knocked out Hugo. Spyro looked at the core and noticed it was losing its color.

“Crud!” yelled Spyro. “Everyone stop fighting the rhynocs! Get those two at the core!” Everyone stopped what they were doing and head for Crush and Gulp.

“Hey are they running track or something?” asked Gulp looking at the skylanders. Crush started to panic.

“Master Ripto! We’ve drained the core!!! PULL US UP!!!!” yelled Crush at the top of his lungs. Ripto’s Fortress stared floating away with all the magic from the core with it. Crush and Gulp had to jump off the edge of the ruins to make it.

“Oh no they don’t!” yelled Spyro. He, Cynder, Sun Burn, Sparx, Gill Grunt, and Hex chased after Ripto’s Fortress. Crush saw them getting closer.

“Gulp, you have jet packs right?” asked Crush.

“Of course I do.” said Gulp.

“Well the skylanders right there want you to body slam them to the ground, and when you reach the ground fly back up here. Got it?” asked Crush.

“Who do I body slam?” asked gulp with his tongue out. Crush turned red from anger.

“Just Jump!!!!!” Gulp let got off the drain pipe and fell on top of Spyro, Cynder, Sun Burn, Sparx, Hex, and Gill Grunt. When they made it to the ground Gulp flew back to the fortress. Trigger Happy, Stealth Elf, Lightning Rod, Zook, Cali, and Hugo(who I may add had a big pink bump on his head) ran to check on there friends. Everyone was okay but, they were sore.

“When I find that shrimp I’m roasting his dino Butt!” snarled Spyro looking toward the outlands.

End. Of ch.1

Ch.2 is when fan skylanders will appear.

They attack too often.

Skylanders: Outland Attack: Ch.2: New Recruits

After that Crushing defeat the rest of skylander came and were surprised that the core lost its magic glow.

“So what happened?” asked Wrecking Ball trying to act cute.

“What Happened!?! Man we got our butts kicked by some Rhino’s.” yelled Trigger Happy.

“And we were crushed by a fat green dinosaur.” moaned Sun Burn trying to unbend his beak.

“Was the dinosaur wearing jet packs by any chance?” asked Flameslinger. Sun Burn nodded.

“Looks like we we’re stalled so only most of us could be at the core.” said Ghost Roaster. “And by the looks of it skylands will be in parallel again. Who did this anyway?”

“My oldest foe Ripto.” snarled Spyro. “He’s just like Kaos, except with a bigger ego, and hatred for dragons. Especially me since I knocked him into lava, and blew him up like 50 times.”

“That’s one vengeful foe you got there spyro.” said Camo surprised.

“And to top that off he stronger now thanks to the core of light.” said Spyro. “All 32 of us might not be able stop him and his rhynoc armies.” Cali decided to step in.

“Why don’t you guys bring in new recruits?”

“Master Eon is the only one who can do that, and he’s not here at the moment…” said Gill Grunt. Hugo thought for a moment.

“Well Master Eon did give Spyro, Gill Grunt, Trigger Happy, Hex, Stealth Elf, Ignitor, Lightning Rod, and Dino-rang the rank of a leader for the elements so…” paused Hugo as he read a page in his book. “A leader ranked skylander has the power when a portal master is absent, to decide if skyland resident can be a skylander of the element they wish to be in.”

“Why were we never informed we could invite people to become skylander?” asked Ignitor confused. Hugo smiled nervously.

“You guys never asked.”

1 day later….

There was a large crowd at the core of light. There were Mabu, Dragons, Elfs, and other magical creature waiting to become a skylander.

Hugo grabs a microphone.

"Okay, all of you critters! You think you got what it takes to be a skylander!?!"
"HECK YEAH!!!!" yelled all of the creatures.

"Well meet our judges!" said Hugo pointing to Spyro the dragon, Cynder the dragoness, Cali the Lynx, Gill Grunt Gillman, Trigger Happy, Stealth Elf, and Ignitor.

"Who wants to go first?" asked Spyro eager to meet the first new skylander.

After 22 hours of judging.

The rest of the skylanders gather at the core of light to meet the newbs.

“ Okay everyone meet: Vac Eagle, Void, Cloak Ghost, Wendy, Cyclops Slime, ClopserIce, Blacrox, and Groak.” said Spyro. The new skylander and the old skylander said there hellos.

“So Mr. Spyro whats our first mission?” asked Void.

“We need to find out any good information on what Ripto may be up to.” said Spyro. “Some of us well have to train our new friends along the way.” Hugo took out a list.

“And I gave the honor to assign the teachers and the students.”

“This is going to suck.” whispered Ghost Roaster to Sun Burn.

“Hex your are going to train Void…” started Hugo.

“Wait who know?” asked Hex confused. Hugo ignored her and continued reading.

“Stealth Elf your going to train Wendy, Zap you got Cyclops Slime, Lightning Rod: Vac Eagle, Eruptor: Cloak Ghost, Boomer: Clopserice, Trigger Happy: Blacrox, and Warnado you have Groak.”

“Alright everyone you heard the mole!” yelled Spyro. “Now its time to get this quest started!”
