Hey, there! I just came up with this random story about a Dragon!
It's Spyro-based, the same rules: the legendary purple Dragon and the Guardians of the temple, you know...

I hope you enjoy it...

Chapter 1: The Year of the Dragon.

Once upon a time, there was rather large temple filled with a huge group of Dragons, of all colors at that, they have existed for thousands of years, every new batch of Dragons hatched on a day called “The Year of the Dragon” There, five selected Dragons with the Elements of Fire, Ice, Lightning, Earth and Wind, would gather the new batch of the Dragon eggs around the rest of the Dragons on this day, they would sit there all day waiting for the Dragon eggs to hatch.

“Do they plan on hatching any time soon?” one of the five selected Dragons ask, whose name is Talish, being the Earth Dragon,
“Go ahead and ask the eggs, how should I know?” Rai, the Lightning Dragon, replied to Talish,
Talish let out a sarcastic laugh, “I can’t ask the eggs, I’ll get no response…” He stated,
“Unless you plan on the baby Dragons answering my question.” Talish said, Rai looked over at him, “Shut up.” Rai said to him. Just then, one of the Dragon eggs starting shaking around!

The Ice Dragon, Siku, then said, “It looks like they’re just about ready to hatch now.”
“I suggest everyone stays silent, for the best…” Notus, the Wind Dragon said. “Now…” He began.
“Where the heck is the Fire Guardian?!” Notus yelled, causing the whole room to remain silent.
“I don’t know…” Siku said rather quietly, “I could look for him.”
“You do that!” Notus demanded, as he looked over at the eggs, “He can’t not show up for the arrival of the new batch of Dragons, that’s disappointing.” Notus complained.

Just then the Fire Dragon Guardian, Cole, walked inside of the room.
“Are you looking for me?” Cole asked, a little sarcastically, as he ran towards the eggs.
The five Dragon Guardians sat down silently as they watched the eggs hatch, one by one.
“One red one, one blue one, one yellow one, one green one, one white one, one purple one and one black one, amazing!”
Siku said, counting all of the Dragons, “The purple Dragon…” Cole said looking at the new born.
“The legend of the purple Dragon continues!” Cole said excitedly, raising the purple dragon into the air.
The Guardians looked down at the purple Dragon, “What should we name him? Asked Rai.
“We should name him something special.” Talish said.
“…Shiro…” Cole said rather quickly, the Guardians looked at him, saying, “What?”
“We should name him Shiro; together his name will be Shiro Kazu.”
“It has a ring to it…” Siku said, smiling at the young Dragon.
“Shiro…” Cole began, “Shiro Kazu the Purple Dragon.” He said, continuing the legend of the purple Dragon.

Chapter 2: Growing Up.

Three years passed by and new born Dragons can now talk, even though just slightly, the five Guardians carefully look after them,
but mostly Shiro, the purple Dragon, although Shiro is a little bit mischievous, he would tend to sneak off places trying to find a way to get out of the temple.

“Shiro, get back here!” Cole said as he watched Shiro run away.
“Come on, Cole, you’re no fun!” Shiro said, “You could at least take me out sometimes!”
Cole sighed, “No,” he began, “A young Dragon like you cannot be brought outside of these grounds.
“Boring old man…” Shiro whispered to himself, walking back inside of the temple.

Later on that day, Shiro’s little brother, Kuro, walked over to him.
“What are you doing?” The little black dragon asked him, “Nothing thanks to Cole.” Shiro answered.
“What did Cole do?” Kuro asked Shiro, “He kept me from leaving…” Shiro said.
Kuro frowned, “Why can’t you leave when he’s not looking?”Kuro asked him.
It was a light bulb moment for Shiro, “Good idea, little bro!” Shiro said.
“You should have been able to think of that yourself…” Kuro said to him with a weird look on his face.

Kuro was younger than Shiro was, but he was a whole lot smarter!
It was in the middle of the night when Shiro tried to sneak off again,
“No more Guardians to get in my way, awesome!” Shiro said, with only his tail still inside of the temple.
Just then his tail is stepped on! “What the…?” Shiro said.
“You’re not going anywhere, young Dragon…” Talish said to him.
“How…? How did you know I was leaving?” Shiro said, completely in shock.
“I work the night shift, little one, why do you assume you don’t see me during the day?” Talish explained.
“…” Shiro stood there at a loss of words, Aw, man! He thought in his head.

Chapter 3: My Personality.
As Shiro grew older, he became less and less of a trouble maker, he actually became allot like one of the purple Dragons from the past, named Spyro.

Shiro became very popular around the other Dragons.
“Hey, Shiro! What’s going on?” Vasuman, the fire Dragon Shiro’s age, asked him.
Shiro looked over at Vasuman, “Nothing much…”
“Boring! You’re becoming like Cole!” Vasuman said, mocking how boring Cole can be.
“I’m not becoming like Cole, I’m just…being a little boring…” Shiro said.
“Oh, Vasuman,” Shiro started, “Do you know where Kuro is?”
“Kuro?” Vasuman questioned, “Ah, I don’t know, he’s probably sitting on a stump someplace!”
Vasuman said, stating that Kuro is lonely and boring as well.

“…Shiro…” A little voice said from afar, Shiro looked over his shoulder to see Kuro standing right behind him, Shiro smiled.
“Hey, Kuro! How are you doing today?” Shiro asked, happily.
“Horrible, as usual…thanks to you…” Kuro said, looking at Shiro with a glare.
“Uh…you’re welcome…?” Shiro said, confused.
Because Shiro was a purple Dragon he was always in the spotlight all of the time, leaving Kuro, a mere black Dragon with no such Element at all, in the dark.

Even though Kuro is Shiro’s little brother, he absolutely hates him.
“So, what else are you doing?” Shiro asked Kuro.
“Nothing…” Kuro said, walking passed Shiro, Shiro sighed…
“Nothing is pretty boring, Kuro, you should try to have some fun!” Shiro suggested.
“Fun?” Kuro said, he stood still for a moment.
“I’m sorry, I don’t know the meaning in that word…” Kuro walked away, Shiro sighed once more.
“See you later…” Shiro let out.

Chapter 4: The Adventure Begins.

It was another casual day in the Temple, Shiro living normally and Kuro living lonely,
However, that day would turn out to be too unusual for the two opposites…

“Kuro, what are you doing?” Shiro asked rather kindly, Kuro didn’t bother to even look at him.
“Nothing…” Kuro said, “As usual…”
Shiro smiled, “You should try to have at least a little bit of fun, Kuro.” Shiro suggested once more.
“I don’t know what this fun you speak of is…” Kuro said, angry.
“Alright, I can explain.” Shiro said, “It’s when you get off of your butt and start doing something that will entertain you for a while!” Shiro explained, a bit sarcastically.
“Is that an insult?” Kuro asked, glaring at Shiro.
“No, it’s just support!” Shiro answered to him, Kuro looked away, getting ready to say something…

However, just then they heard a huge explosion coming from outside of the Temple.
“What the hell was that?!” Kuro said, standing up.
“I don’t know, but we should check it out!” Shiro said, the two Dragons run out of the room.
“What’s going on, Cole?” Shiro asked as he sees Cole lying on the floor.
Cole looked back at the two Dragons, “Is that you…? Shiro…Kuro…?” Cole asked, weakly.
“Cole, what happened?” Kuro asked.
“I don’t know, a huge wave of energy just hit us.” Cole explained.
“What do you mean, Cole? What’s going on?” Shiro asked, worried.

Just then a huge wave of energy hit the two Dragon from behind, “What the…?”
Shiro said as he fell to the floor, however, Kuro felt stronger once it hit him.
“What’s wrong, Shiro? Can’t take one hit…?” Kuro mocked.
“Kuro…? You mean…you didn’t take any effect by that?” Shiro said, looking at Kuro.
“No, but what’s going on anyway?” Kuro questioned.
Shiro then noticed that an all black figure was standing behind Kuro.
“K-Kuro, look out!” Shiro shouted, just then the arm of the figure wrapped around Kuro’s neck.
“W-What the…hell?” Kuro said, looking back at the figure.
“By orders from our master, you must come with us, Kazu-san…” The figure said.
Just then his eyes seemed to glow a bright red color, “KURO!!” Shiro yelled as the figure took Kuro away from the Temple.
“Cole, are you…?” Shiro got back up, he knew he had no time to waste before something happened to Kuro, his beloved little brother.
“I’m sorry, Cole, I have to go, I hope you’ll make it through this…” Shiro said, flying out of the Temple.
“I’ll find you, Kuro! I swear on my life!” Shiro said with strong determination in his eyes.

Chapter 5: Living Within Darkness…

All too quickly things just seemed to happen to the Kazu family, Kuro was confused as anything, he didn’t know where he was, or where he needed to be anymore.

“Where am I?” Kuro asked the black figure who carried him there.
“You’re in our master’s liar,” The figure told him, “Ciaran’s liar…” He said.
“Ciaran’s liar? Who is this…Ciaran you speak of?” Kuro questioned.
“You’ll be able to meet him soon enough…” The figure said, walking out of the cell Kuro was placed in.
Kuro didn’t understand what was happening, he just knew he didn’t like it…
“What the hell?!” Kuro yelled, with his words echoing through the room.

Meanwhile, Shiro was soaring through the skies searching in all directions; however, once he became tired he decided to take a break at a nearby village.

“What’s going on? I don’t understand…” Shiro said. “Why did this need to happen?”
Shiro wondered to himself, he seemed to be thinking the same things Kuro was.
“Why do I need to be a purple Dragon?” Shiro asked himself, “I bet if I wasn’t, this wouldn’t be happening.”
Just then, Shiro heard a voice out in the distance, calling his name.
“Shiro!” As Shiro heard this, he looked back to see Vasuman standing before him.
“Vasuman? How did you get here? When did you get here?” Shiro asked.
“When and how did I get here?!” Shiro questioned.
“Slow down, pal…” Vasuman smiled, “It was only a matter of time until I found you.”
Shiro looked at him in shock, “…” Again, at a loss of words…

Over in the mysterious Ciaran’s Liar, Kuro seems to be walking around in circles inside of his cell, just then, Kuro hears the cell door open up, he looks over to see a bright light shine though, he squints his eyes, turning towards it.

“Who’s there? What do you want from me?” Kuro asked.
“I don’t need anything from you, Kuro,” A voice said from outside of the door.
”You’re the one who should want something from me…” Just then a female back Dragon walked inside.
Kuro looked he dead in the eyes, “Who are you?!” He questioned.
“…My name is Ciara…” She answered to him, “And I will be teaching you a lesson today.”
Kuro gave a weird look, “A…A lesson?” Kuro asked in confusion.
“Your training begins today.” Ciara told him.

Chapter 6: Take Flight!

Kuro simply stares at the Dragoness as she walks towards him, he thinks to himself, what’s going on? However, just then Ciara hits Kuro with her wing!

“Ow! What the hell was that for?!” Kuro asked as he put his hand over his face.
“For not paying any mind to what I’m saying!” Ciara replies to him.
Kuro looks at her with a very angry face, “What do you want?” He asks.
“I’m teaching you how to fly.” Ciara explained, “Now come on!”
“Wait, I already know how to fly!” Kuro states as she drags him out of his cell.

However, all too quickly Kuro found himself at the top of a mountain covered in shadows.
“What on earth is going on?!” Kuro yells, “I already know how to fly!” Ciara looks over at him.
“Hm, if you know how to fly, prove it to me.” Ciara demands.
“Uhh…” Kuro says, looking down off of the huge cliff, it doesn’t seem like it because of his kind of attitude, but Kuro is actually afraid of heights!
“Ahem!” Kuro clears his throat, “M-Maybe you can teach me how to fly after all!” Kuro says.
Ciara smiles, “Coward…” She lets out as she looks out into the distance.
“I am no coward!” Kuro yells, “Just teach me how to fly already!”

Meanwhile, Shiro and Vasuman get up the next morning and continue to travel outside of the village, soaring through the skies.
“How long do you think this will take us?” Vasuman asked Shiro.
“Not very long if we hurry up!” Shiro says, speeding his way far past Vasuman!
“H-Hey, wait up!” Vasuman said, trying to catch up with Shiro.

As Shiro and Vasuman make their way to Kuro through the skies, Kuro is having trouble reaching the skies himself!
“How the heck do you expect me to fly?” Kuro asked.
“It’s really not that hard,” Ciara explains, “You’re a Dragon for a reason, to fly.” She says.
Kuro looks over at her as she begins to fly.
“It’s not as if you’re a lizard,” Ciara told him, “You wouldn’t carry wings on your back if you were.”
Kuro watched as she was so easily flying over 10 feet above the ground.
“How can you do that?” Kuro asked, Ciara looked back at him.
“Clear your mind,” She explained, “Make yourself believe you can fly, and you will fly.”
Kuro never thought the trick to flying was that easy!
“Magic is all it takes; we are fairy tale creatures for a reason.” Ciara smiled.
“Whoa…” Kuro’s eyes widened, “That’s…That’s amazing!” Kuro stated, watching her fly, so carelessly.

Chapter 7: I Took Flight.

Kuro just stood there and watched as she was flying without the slightest bit of fear, Kuro was amazed because he is so afraid of falling from high places.

“How are you doing that? Teach me!” Kuro demanded, “I just did.” She told him.
“Come up here and try it!” Ciara told him.
“R-Right…” Kuro said as he brought himself closer to the edge.
Kuro put his wings out and closed his eyes, he made himself believe he could fly and…
“Well done! You’re flying!” Ciara told him, Kuro was flying!
“Flying? I’m flying!” Kuro said, looking all around him, “I’m flying!”
This was the most exited Kuro was in his entire life, he was actually experiencing the emotion of happiness, something new for him. “I’m actually flying!” Kuro said.
“You’re just going to float there and say it?” Ciara asked.
“Come higher, I’m sure it will be fun!” Ciara stated, as Kuro flew up higher.
“I’m…I’m doing it, I’m flying!” Kuro seemed as if he was happy because he had finally faced his fears, however he was celebrating because he was coming closer to surpassing Shiro.

Kuro didn’t know where he was or why he was there, but whether or not this was his mission; he made his reason in being there to be able to defeat Shiro one day, even though he is his own brother.

“I’m finally flying; I thought the day would never come.” Kuro said.
“I told you if you made yourself believe, you could.” Ciara told him, flying even higher.
“Wait up! Where are you going, the moon?” Kuro asked, Ciara looked back at him.
“No, I’m not going to the moon, you idiot!” She said.
She continued to fly higher and higher and higher, Kuro could barely keep up!
“Can’t keep up, Kuro-san?” Ciara asked him, “Shut up!” Kuro said.
“Very well…” Ciara then stopped flying, Kuro looked down from where he was.
“Ahh! When did we get this high?!” Kuro asked, Ciara smiled.
“What’s the matter, are you scared?” Ciara asked him.
“No!” Kuro said, angry, “I suggest we go back down, though!”
Ciara smiled as she started to fly back down to the ground, and Kuro followed.
Kuro was annoyed by Ciara and her actions, but he knew that they would help him learn whatever he needed to learn to defeat Shiro.

Chapter 8: Still Searching

Shiro and Vasuman continued to look for Kuro, trying to find their way to wherever he could have been taken to.
“I’ll find you, little bro, I swear!” Shiro said to himself, however, Vasuman heard him.
“Some determination you got here, Shiro.” Vasuman said.
“Oh, I said that out loud, didn’t I?” Shiro asked him, Vasuman shook his head.
“Yeah, you know, Shiro, I know how you’re feeling right now.” Vasuman told him, which confused Shiro.
“What do you mean?” Shiro asked, “Are you trying to say…?”
Shiro cut his sentence off right where it was as he looked over at Vasuman, who had a serious look on his face, he seemed to be hurt by something.

“Yo, Shiro, how about we take a break and I explain something to you?” Vasuman suggested.
“Uh…Sure, my wings are getting a little tired.” Shiro said, landing on the ground.
“Right, we can spend the night in this cave here, Shiro, let’s go.” Vasuman said.
Shiro realized that Vasuman wasn’t as happy as he usually is, he was always known to be the happy and energetic one, but he seemed pretty serious.

“So what is it, Vasuman?” Shiro asked, sitting down.
“The Guardians told me when I was just a little boy that I’m not an only child.” Vasuman told Shiro.
“You’re not?” Shiro asked, “No.” Vasuman replied.
“Then who’s your other sibling, Vasuman?” Shiro questioned.
“The Guardians said that I had a little sister, but she was taken away by to the Shadow Realms.” Vasuman told Shiro, Shiro was confused, he was told about the Shadow Realms before but he never knew that Vasuman’s sister lived there.
“They said she was a black Dragon, too.” Vasuman stated.
“Do…do you know her name?” Shiro asked. “Yes…” Vasuman replied.
“Her name…was Ciara.” Vasuman told Shiro.

But that’s the name of the Dragon who Kuro is training with!
Could it be that she is Vasuman’s little sister?

Chapter 9: Ciaran...

Back in the Shadow Realms Kuro continued to train with Ciara.
Though he really hated her, he hated Shiro more, so he kept on doing it.
“What’s the matter, Kazu-san? Can’t keep up with me?” Ciara joked, running around in circles.
“Tsk! Yeah, I sure can!” Kuro said, running after Ciara.
Ciara only laughed, watching Kuro make a fool out of himself was a breeze for her.
“Why can’t I catch you?!” Kuro asked, panting, completely out of breath.
“Too slow, there is a trick to it!” Ciara stated.
“What? A trick? Tell me what it is!” Kuro said, Ciara only smiled.
Though before she could respond to him, the door of Kuro’s room cracked open, a black dragon with white hair and dark brown eyes walks inside.

“Ciaran?” Ciara let out, then bowing, confused, Kuro asks,
“Who the hell is he?” But Ciara then jabbed Kuro in his stomach.
“OW!! What was that for?!” Kuro asked, “Bow down!” Ciara demanded.
“Bow down? I have no reason to bow to this dragon!” Kuro stated, but Ciaran then looked over at him.
“No reason?” Ciaran started, “I can make you bow down to me, boy…” Ciaran stated.
Just then Kuro felt his body being weighed down to the ground, unable to stand on his four feet, Kuro fell to the floor, confused, Kuro looked up at Ciaran.

“How did you do that?!” Kuro asked.
“It doesn’t matter,” Ciaran started, “I am not here for no reason, Kuro Kazu…” Ciaran stated.
“Your brother, Shiro, is on his way here right now.” Ciaran told him.
Kuro’s eyes strongly widened as he heard Ciaran speak Shiro’s name.
“Shiro?!” Kuro yelled, trying to stand back up but he fell right back down.
“Silence…” Ciaran told Kuro, “When Shiro gets here you will have to rid of him, Kuro.” Ciaran said.
“You want me to…rid of him? How?” Kuro asked.
“You have to kill him, Kuro, but you are not ready yet.” Ciaran stated.
Kuro was so confused to hear Shiro’s name, and now Ciaran told him that he had to kill him, of course, that’s what Kuro intended on doing himself, anyway.
“Keep training me, I’ll be sure to kill him!” Kuro said.
“Yes, Ciara will continue to train you until you are ready to face him, right, Ciara?” Ciaran stated.
“Of course I will!” Ciara said in return to him.

I was kind of in a hurry to make that one so if it's not the best that's why!
