I was figuring out on how much money I have spent on Skylanders, and I realized it came to almost $300! I can't believe I spent that much. I had bought the Wii and 3ds games, plus most of the figures. I had bought 3 sets of "buy two get one free" for the single Skylanders, so that was about $24 saved, plus a "buy two get one one free" for one of the triple/adventure pack. So that was another $20 saved. My total though is just short of $300...and I still want more. Wow.

Way more, sad but true.

Yep me too, doesn't feel like it one at a time but boy did it add up as I look at them lol

more than 300 and i have only been collecting for less than a month and have managed to snag all 3 expansions (had to ebay empire of ice ) and every character (minus legendary's) but sonic boom.

Probably at least. I'd have to go take a look at everything to total it all up.

So that's about $373 there. Guess I'm in the 300 Club.

EDIT: I knew I messed up a bit. 2 of the Adventure packs and 2 of the 3 packs were bogo, so rather that the $80 originally, its only $40.

So my total should be about $333

$150 at most, including tax/shipping. I don't have all the figures I'd like though.

I have no idea what my total is but I calculated it awhile back and it was like $200, but since then its probably $300-$400 now.

My son received the 3DS pack, an adventure pack, and a triple pack as gifts. He also spent $40 of his Christmas money on an adventure pack and a triple pack. That puts the rest on me, which would be the Wii starter pack, five triple packs, an adventure pack, and L-Trig coming in the mail soon. So I'm up to about $210. With two triple packs, an adventure pack, and a single yet to buy, I'm looking at least at another $70, so I wont quite hit that $300 mark. Plus I think I'll be able to get his grandparents and uncle to buy some of them for his birthday, so I'll probably end up around $250 or so (we haven't opened everything in my signature yet - I'm planning to give him the legendaries from his mother and me).

I wish I only spent $300 for this game......

Aha, if you aren't prepared to "go there", then neither am I...

most of my were on a sale, so each of mine were at least 8 bucks. So no, I don't think I spent that much. Lets see.... Do the starter skylanders count? If not, then I have paid at least 150$ on skylanders.

tfb have laughed so hard they have lost all their teeth, so they have now replaced them with gold teeth... and you will have a shock when you see boomer, i can promise you there is no cuteness to bee seen there.

I think I'm doing okay myself, the game was a birthday present from my brother so that cost me nothing...

Personally I have bought 1 adventure pack for £19.99 (UK RRP... about $31.44) and 1 triple pack for £16.99 (£3 cheaper than UK RRP... about $26.72) so £36.98 ($58.16)

Although I was given 3 singles for Valentine's day by my husband and since his money is my money that's £7.49 x3... £22.47 ($35.34) and he's pre-ordered EoI for my Mother's day present (UK Mother's day is March 18th this year) for £19.85 ($31.22) as my daughter is too young to buy me something herself so he has spent £42.32 ($66.56).

So between us that's £79.30 (£124.72).

Got the ps3 and 3ds versions of the game and have every available character so far. Most characters were 8-10 for single packs but planned ahead before Xmas and got some bogof skylander 3 packs. Got a few single packs early on at game stop for 4.99 but lately the prices have skyrocketed. So I have spent at 250 so far.

I've only had the game for two weeks and already bought 3 separate figures. Still waiting on Bash to arrive though (got him on Amazon).

For now, the only figures on my wishlist are one from each element - although I do have Dragon's Peak on my wishlist (comes with a fire elemental though, which I don't have yet). But knowing how bad I am with spending money I will probably end up getting more eventually. I can't remember exactly what everything cost but I'll try...

Sonic Boom - £15
Cynder - £20
Bash - £12

The figures are hard to find in the UK (I've had no luck in shops and only bought them online) so I've resorted to spending more than I probably could have done if I had more patience. But oh well. Now I'm wondering how much I'll end up spending on Dragon's Peak pack and Camo. Definitely going to keep an eye out for those.

In all fairness that thread was uber-old and not even the OP cared enough to resurrect it.

It is okay to create a thread when a rational person cannot find it readily; we should not expect people to go to insane lengths.
