Has anyone heard if there will be weather changes or night and day progression? I would love flying spyro at night during a thunderstorm!

THAT WOULD BE AWESOME like in the NFS games the weather changes

(NFS stands for need for speed)

Snowstorms might be interesting too; if they have a wintery level.

That would be cool! I'd love to travel through a bright,sunny area instead of a dark forest or castle.

I think that it would be awesome to fly through a sandstorm in the dessert, or a breezy sunny field.

oohhhhh what about a firestrom in the valcano world

I'd LOVE weather changes and day/night transitions. Games like that would be SOOO fun to play around in, especially if you were a flying creature. (Just for the record, the video games I'll make in the future will always have free roaming and days/nights, and weather if possible) OOOHH, what about games with SEASON changes, that'd be really awesome! And the weather could correspond with the seasons....... (goes to drawing board )

That would be an awesome world to fight the Dark Master in.

Like a volcano eruption, you would be forced to fly but you would have to watch out for the spraying magma.

I just thought of something else... what if a game had realistic moon cycles(relative to Earth that is), and thus, rising and falling tides? Just a small thought I felt like sharing.

now that would be kinda hard if you couldnt see anythimg especially in a boss fight

yes that is true

Hopefully the enviroment is a bit more interactive. I'd like some animals to chase around like in the old games.

Well, they did show screenshots of night-time, like Spyro staring at the Celestial moons in one of them and flying above a waterfall at night also. So I'm guessing there might be day and night changes in the game. Especially, you notice the sky on few of the screenshots have colors of a sunset.

Could still be the level. And I seriously doubt we will ever have seasonal changes as suggested in post #7.

I think we can only see the night and day changes throughout the game.

Hopefully night and day is present on all levels. Maybe certain things only happen at certain times of the day or night?

Maybe it will. Like we nocturnal things at night and morning things in the day.

Lol for some reason this makes me think of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Spyro can hunt for pryzms with light beams.

Will the game correspond to actual time in reality? I heavily doubt it. But it looks like there'll be levels in day, late afternoon and nighttime. >.>

I wonder if any of the levels will be set in a snowy area. Seems there always is at least one in Spyro games.
