I think you're meant to stick the names of your Skylanders on the poster but the actual images have no use, unless you just wanna stick them on random things. As for the trading cards, they're not really used for anything. Presumably, if you have a bunch of them, then you could play a top-trumps style game with them.

Poster stickers went on the poster.

Image stickers went into the case we use for storage so that each champion has their own compartment.

We play Top Trumps with the cards.

Image stickers I am still yet to do anything with, but the cards make nice placeholders for my Skylanders to sit on in their special shelf :3
