A lot of people have been disagreeing about this certain topic: is Spyro ANB a new Spyro? or is it simply Spyro as a baby/toddler

I still think it is a baby/toddler Spyro, why would he have the same name? same pet dragonfly? same color? thats my story and im sticking with it. if you mean new by just born recently i agree! lol, cuz it is baby spyro

It is a new continuty, taking place in a seperate universe. However, that doesn't mean it's a different Spyro persay. Take Batman for example. There have been at least half a dozen reboots in the Batman continuty(or, to be exact, in the entire DC continuty), yet fans have always thought it was the same Batman, and I think it should be acknowledged that the Spyro of the new continuty is still Spyro.

i agree with michael, to an extent, i think it is Spyro in a slightly different universe. but of course he is a baby, and somewhere in Spyros lifetime he probably moved to the dragon realms area. but in ANB he lives somewhere near the dragonfly place. y'know? so maybe not a new universe. more like country- just my opinion.

It's an interesting concept. It is proabably still the same Spyro. The reviews I've read say how this is the story of when Spyro was born. Though the world and creatures make me think it's some sort of new Dragon Realms with a new Spyro. It's an interesting topic, just quite possibly confusing!

yeah, i feel the way you do too. but about the new worlds thing. i think it simply just the same world, but a different part of it. like im in America...but if i went to Australia they wouldnt say its not the real me. or if I grew up in Switzerland and when i became a teen, moved to America. Do you get my point? I can't wait til Christmas so i can get ANB!!!!

Well, according to an interview on Slicedgaming.com this game is a reboot, thus meaning it is like Batman:Year One, creating a new continuty while still being of the same series. Anyway, I think the true question is whether characters of the original continuty will appear in this new one.

Here is one of my key deciding factors:
The Dragon Elders shown in future games are clearly older than Spyro. Yet they do not even exist in ANB. This would be suggesting that Spyro is older that the elders which is a physically impossible scientific fact. These questions and more can open up infinite paradoxes.

this is because the game is ''a new beginning'', and spyro is more mature than a 17 years person in there |

In my concept game 'The Legend of Spyro: Rise of the Dark Master' I'm making a ligation of this new Spyro storyline and world with the old... It's being amazing!
Hey Brazilian Spyro, I'm from Brazil, too!

Renan Spyro, the title"The Legend of Spyro:Rise of the Dark Master" is what I thought the next Spyro game should be called.

i think the should wait, the dark master should come into the games later. like as for now he's rehabilitating from being locked up, and he will come back in a few years stronger than he is now with all of the muscle mass he lost while being locked up (if he is one of those things who has muscles) and if he is a wizard he will need to practice his magic, so i think...not just yet for dark master

Well, it has never been confirmed that the Dark Master has a corpereal(physical) form or not, Volteer, so he may not need time to regain body mass. Also, he must be still pretty strong despite his imprisionment if he was able to turn Cynder into what she was in ANB.

oh, i did say that if he had no muscles because he was some other form...then he would still need to pull himself together, thats the way it is always done. if you have ever read the narnia books you know the jadis is the white witch and she waits a looooong time before she decides to take over narnia. do you get what i mean?

Yes, Volteer, I understand. The sequel could take place years after ANB,giving the Dark Master plenty of time to prepare(who knows, we could well be playing as a teenage Spyro).

yes, that would be great, i hope Krome makes this teenage Spyro look somehwhat like the AHT teenage Spyro, hey michael, i consider these games just to be the "lost chronicles" rather than a new one. do you get what im saying? even though they call it a re-boot, im calling it that. you know?

I think it's the same Spyro too, Volteer.
''I agree with Volteer.'' (It's the ORIGIANAL Spyro- when he was born, he looked like Spyro in ANB. Then, right b4 Gnasty took over, Spyro had plastic surgery!! !!! lol) |
