After Skylanders:Giants, I am extreamly sure there will be more Spyrop games. But in the future, Spyro might not be in the Skylanders games for whatever reasons. Would you still buy the Skylanders games if he wasn't in them. I personally would.

I would. While Spyro is how I learned about the game, he's pretty much at the bottom of my list in terms of characters I like from it and I never play as him if I don't have to. I hope he'll get his own full game again sometime and I doubt he'll be pulled from Skylanders (there's no reason to do that at all) but I'd still play the game if he weren't in it.

Probably not. The game's not that great... I'm not even going to bother getting Giants... (tho that's mostly cause there's no PC version.....) Even if Spyro was in every single Skylanders game, I still probably wouldn't get them...

Well, I'm pretty sure that Spyro (along with the 31 other original Skylanders and the new Skylanders) will always be playable in future games. But, that's not the only reason why I'd buy them. I'm still gonna buy Giants because I enjoyed the first game.

In a way, it's kind of good that TFB/Activision aren't still saying "Gaiz! Spyro!" in every Skylanders interview. Skylanders is gonna be it's own thing, and although it started with a link to Spyro it was always going to drift away as they introduced more and more characters. I mean, when Giants is released there will be 48 individual characters. Another game could increase that total to at least 64 (if they were to release 16 new characters for each game).

Huh, that's basically the reason I got the video game and if it didn't have Spyro in it...
I don't think I would really have a reason to get it.

I'm obsessed with Skylanders now because of Spyro, but I still love the crap out of the game and all of it's awesome stuff.

Spyro, as much as I love playing as him, isn't even among the most interesting skylanders, imo. Whirlwind, Drobot (as Spyra mentioned), Chop Chop, Stealth Elf, Gill Grunt. Most other skylanders are pretty cool.

So yes. I'd continue playing Skylanders ... as long as I have the extra money.

I would becuase there are other cool characters besides him(Zap, Stealth Elf, Hex, Ghost Roaster, lightning Rod, ETC.).

If the game isn't recycling itself, then yeah I'd get it regardless of Spyro's omission.

I can deal with Spyro not being in there. I can't, however, deal with Skylanders being the same game year after year. This is why I hope after Giants, the series waits at least 2 years while the developers try to further innovate.

Well I have bought games that don't have Spyro in them so I don't see why this should be treated any different. It depends on how well the gameplay is.

Mmm... I think I will keep playing Skylanders because is not a bad game, also I have a lot of games that don't have Spyro in them, like Resident Evil, Dance Dance Revolution, Silent Hill, Ratchet and Clank, etc... But I really want to keep playing some Spyro Games

But I don't think I would have known about the game if Spyro wasn't in it.
