I was in Wal-Mart (their selection of Skylanders is HORRENDOUS, there's barely anything there) today checking out the magazines and noticed a Skylanders preview in the latest Nintendo Power.

Aside from talking about stuff we already know (How Giants play, how the figures were made), there was this interesting little tidbit where they said that the soundtrack will be a lot more dynamic in game. Like depending on the area or situation the music will change to reflect that.

I thought that sounded neat and should be really cool in-game.

Are the same people returning for the soundtrack in Giants that did Spyro's Adventure?

Yes, both Lorne Balfe and Hans Zimmer are returning to compose the music.

While Lorne is alright, it was really disappointing to hear that Zimmer was going to compose the music, only to later find out he only did the theme song.

I think they confirmed that he will do the theme song again. Hans had been teaching Lorne Balfe how to compose music like he does, hasn't he?

I guess he has, but frankly he'll never be able to replicate Zimmer's style of composing (IMO).

Well, dynamic soundtracks are common in RTS games.... And I love them there!

I just hope Giants will have PC version like Adventure, I would like to see how it will be :3

Dammit. You can't imagine how high my hopes got when I read that Zimmer composed the music! He did an epic main theme, but I would have loved seeing more.
