I went to Tesco in Coventry lastnight to see if they had any new Skylanders, they had an Erupter on the shelf & Stealth Elf in the locked cabinet, knowing my friend needed a Stealth Elf I asked the chap on the Entertainment counter to get one for me, he said that I had to pay at the entertainment desk there, not the tills at the front.

No problem, had a few other bits to get but didn't concern me, until it registered at £39.71p,
"sorry mate these are £6.99 - £7.99 normally"
"Yeah, the Erupters are, but these are harder to get & thats the price on the computer, Do you still want it?"
"Yeah, why not, in fact make it 2 !!!!"

How on earth can they charge that for 1 figure, either a serious computer error or Tesco are trying to stop ANYONE owning Stealth Elf

No excuse for a store to be doing that. Wow. Price gauging in a retail store.

So now the LEGIT RETAIL STORES are scalping?

This is how bad Skylander buying has become. When stores charge way over the RRP you’ve got no hope.

Toys for Bob/Activision can’t even give delivery dates to stores. How bad is that!!!

Stores don’t even know what’s coming in on their deliveries. How does a company run like that!!!

I’ve stopped wasting my time calling into retail stores to see what stock they have (usually none).
I’ve also stopped ringing because when you ring, somebody like Peter Griffin (Family Guy) seems to answer the phone and they don’t have clue about what’s going on in their own store or they just lie.

It's next to Toys R Us and Asda. The Asda next to the Tesco has Dino Rangs, Boomers and Zaps btw. They are right at the back behind a glass cabinet.

I saw those Stealth Elfs for that Price. I was so shocked.

I bought a Bash and a Chop Chop from there They had Eruptors, Chop Chops, Sonic Booms, Bashs and Stealth Elfs when I was there. There was a massive crowd of people grabbing loads so me and my bro pushed passed some people to get the ones we wanted

Woah, 40 quid for stealth elf? You could pay a fiver extra and get dark spyro and Ignitor in the 3ds pack. Eek, they are desperate. I've heard other stuff about tesco computers, with jobs with no salary. Could this be linked? Faulty computers? If that's the price for a "rare" stealth elf, what's Cynder gonna be?
