DM, Spyro, Cynder who?

Or at least who do you think they are talking about.

Really? For the longest time I thought it was Spyro but then I started to wonder.

For DM he could change to the good side which would be a "Dawn" of a new age for him to start a better life.

For Spyro he could gain some official "Purple Dragon" power or to have defeated DM Which would be a "Dawn" of a new age for him and all the other dragons.

For Cynder since the Chronichler said that she would turn dark again or if she really is still evil (but I highly doubt will happen) and she rids the power of evil and turns completly good.

I guess that explains my reasons.

I would think it refers to Spyro, since he is destined to defeat the DM. It probly also refers to all good, heroic dragons because the defeat of Malefor would usher in a new age of peace and prosperity for all of dragon kind.

Either Spyro or the Dark Master.

And nice point-outs. And: *Chronicler (no "H")

i think it means the end of The Eternal Night that has shrouded the world for 3 years and the "Dawn" part of the title means morning OF The Eternal Night and the part that says "of the Dragon" probrobly means when the dragon gaurdian (Spyro) wakes up from the sleep of which The Eternal Night had its effect on him and the dragon gaurdian strikes back to take back he world that the Dark Master has stolen and dessicrate it by engulfing it in darkness and evil cold-blooded, merciless monsters

that is how i think what Dawn of the Dragon means...

It could simply mean the re-emergence of the age of dragons which has almost completely crumbled into oblivion since the crusade of evil. It doesn't need to actually refer to any individual dragon.

The title doesn't really have to refer to any particular character.
But if it does, I think it refers to Spyro. Dawn of the Dragon. That might mean Spyro discovers his true potential, what he's destined to do, which he's been struggling to comprehend in the past two games. And that's kind of understandable. I mean, destroying a dragon that everyone has fallen to before is a really big responsibility for someone his age. Something might happen that makes Spyro realise what he's got to do.
Just a thought...

Year of the Dragon doesn't refer to any specific dragon/s, why should Dawn of the Dragon be different.

You misspelt Chronicler as Chronichler.

Anyway, I think it means Spyro, since dawn means "to begin to appear or develop" and Spyro is growing up.

Probably Spyro bringing hope to a land engulfed in war and evil. If it was the DM it would probably be Dusk of the Dragon smilie

Ok here is a definition of dawn:
dawn on or upon to become apparent (to someone)

so if u think about it, Spyro is finally freed from his cocoon, so it becomes apparent to the animals/creatures (Hunter, Dark Master, ect.) that Spyro is in their land.
