a new skylanders game is coming, it seems like we will see a sports title featuring the toy figures. whether this will be limited to football or a broader range of sports remains to be seen. But one thing is for sure there will be more toys to buy.

It doesn't make sense anyways. A video game based with Skylanders characters based on an American sport? If it was Skylanders Olympics 2012, maybe.
