Which remodeled Skylander do you want to get.

And here are the skylanders so far remodeled.

Whirlwind maybe, if she is in the list.

hmm.. dunno. Probably like the dragons or something (EXCEPT SPYRO [I already have 3!-Spyro, Dark, and Legendary])

No it isn't. There is a remodeled Zook. No one even has Zook yet.

Well, the original Zook will come out maybe in Match 2012, and the other one maybe one year after... Waiting a complete year is a bit long.

But it maybe it will come out a little but after Skylanders Giants is released.

Maybe yeah... but if it's like now, we won't know...

With release dates, I wouldn't to wait for buying a Skylander, to wait for the redesigned version.

I'd imagine that Spyro will be redesigned, I mean, he's the "signature" character (even if he's not named in the title) and since there's just one Skylander from the previous series in the starter pack, It's hard to think of anything they'd use.

I think I'd like to have a redesigned Boomer, maybe Voodood. Some of the characters that get changes to them once you upgrade would be nice, like Gill Grunt with the tri-harpoon gun.

I'll be getting them, only because there's a lot of the characters I'd like to try the alternate paths on. Who knows, maybe now we'll have a choice of like 3 paths?

Its a none from me in the UK too. We will get all the new giants and regulars but the 24 remodeled ones are a waste of money for us. If they did something different then it would be different. But as a family we have spent a small fortune on these already, with many more £'s to shell out in the next 12 months.

This needs to be Spyro's reworked model.

Honestly, their best bets are to choose characters that would look good when they light up. We know of 4 of the older ones that will have that, one being Prism Break. My guesses are Drobot (eyes, maybe the jet packs light up), Double Trouble (the staff orb would glow) and one of the Firelanders, probably Eruptor (his body/eyes would glow)

^ Yeah but posed differently than the original unlike how both Prism Breaks are in the same position.

Edit: I like the idea of all of those but I would prefer an Ignitor with light-up sword, face, and head.

Not really. Now people can have both builds for each character, on models it's actually possible to tell the difference between. I imagine that the sequel/expansion will add more reasons to want to do this, as well.

Nope, complete waste of $. Why spend more to get nothing more in return? Watch the prices of the original figs once the new ones come out.

^They might not make a remodeled Stealth Elf because they already have Zook as a life elemental, but Zook doesn't light up so maybe they will make her one of the four "Light Force" characters?

And they will do Stealth Elf. She's their "main" Life Skylander from a marketing perspective, a pack-in, and a favorite of fans and developers alike. If any Life were going to be left out, I'd bet on Stump Smash, since Zook is confirmed, Camo is a dragon, and Stealth Elf is Stealth Elf.

But if the two different figures don't have a distinction that shows which path they upgraded, what's the difference? You'll still wonder which figure has what upgrade, unless you play so often that you have every figure and every path memorized.

Personally, I wouldn't find it too difficult to tell the difference between figures I've had on one build for a year, and new, remodeled figures that I've only had on the other for a short time. If they were all released or being bought simultaneously, that might be a different story, but that isn't the case.

Agreed. If anything the original figures would be BETTER value cause you'd be able to play them in both SSA and Giants, where as the new ones would only be for giants (hence why they have orange bases). They're gameplay is identical, so why should I bother?

I would like to see a new Stealth Elf in the pose that Tashiji is using as her avatar.....be nice if her eyes would glow too! Nice to see a Double trouble too...his scepter, staff would be pretty cool glowing!
Really though not sure if I will be getting too many of the remodels! Maybe Zook if I do not have his original pose.

I'm pretty sure the remodels will work in the original game as well. My understanding of them is that they're just new models on the exact same character bases we already have. No functional difference, as far as I know, besides the pose.

i think it's a waste of money too. but with ugly toy model characters like terrafin or ghost roaster...

I'll prob. get them eventually but only AFTER i've purchased all the originals, AND all the new skylanders and all the giants(all the adventure packs and stuff too).

I'm gonna agree with Reimu here. Whirlwind would be pretty cool reposed. She'd probably end-up being the only remodeled Champion I'd buy.

44 new, or re- done characters total!!!! Too much!!!!

Even if they were around $8.00 each (which they will not all be) That is around $400!!!! Just for the new and remodeled releases coming out.

I would much rather have seen just 8 Giants, 4 new characters, 4 redone with remodels and lights and stuff!
16 would have been better! I guess if we do not buy any of the remodels or the special light ones....that will be around just 16 to collect!

It is nice to let everyone who missed the first Characters from the first game to get these re-designs though!!!

I think the light ups should be:

Drobot
Prisimbreak (already decided)
Ignitor
Lightning Rod

They all seem to be a logical choice as to why a skylander would light up.

Did anyone take the upgrade path "Clockwork dragon". If you did, can you make a youtube video about it.

The problem is they are remodeled as well in game. Attacks look differently, for example Zooks Shroomz will be Cactuars.

Not so much a separate path, but newer effects from using them.

My face when you upgrade Prism Break down a particular path and it makes him glow a different color. I'd buy so many of them.

^It would be awesome if you can customized the color of prism break's crystal in game.
