I can just make out "Life Giant" as it's name on the screen. If there's one for each Element, are they just gonna be "X Giant"? That seems kinda dumb...

Dang. Guess I'll be buying at least one of the sequel's Skylanders. That's the only Air elemental Skylander I really like so far. I don't really like any of the Air elementals from the first game. :/

None of the Skylanders have guns....I think it's pretty tastefully done actually!
Trigger Happy shoots coins....this Captain eagle guy is holding a giant hair blower that's all!

No, it does shoot some type of missiles.....hummm??? I guess Ignitor's flaming sword, and Giles harpoon is not that peaceful either?
At least there is no blood!

Maybe the game is more violent then I thought! For really young kids that is!!!

The orig game has cannons, bombs, shtuff blowing up.

Kids enjoy that kind of thing and even if you take their toy guns away, they will point fingers and sticks and still go "ptew! ptew!".

I think these games are doing it much more tastefully than many others.

My face when I watched the gameplay vid, and saw him sort of float around darn near exactly how Byrd does. I'd love it if they do, but I'm also feeling they'll just end up calling him Hawkeye or something.

That "gun" is pretty much a glorified hairdryer. It's got a fan on it, which you can see in the gameplay vid.

there is now been said there is 44 new figurines so far....

8 giants skylanders with light
8 new skylanders
4 older skylanders with light
24 older skylanders reissued in new poses

8 new ones, and 8 Giants. There's also 24 redesigned ones, and 8 total "LifeForce" Skylanders (4 new ones, 4 older characters. They glow when near or on the Portal, like the Giants, and are supposed to be rare)

So we've got a total of 48 things coming out. I'd theorize that there's probably 2 more things we'll be seeing which would round it out to an even 50.
