I noticed in that really sunny level there seems to be ground water about... will Spyro and Cynder be able to swim? Or will they just drown if they go into the water? Or is the water too shallow to swim in? I wonder...

I made a similar topic about this a while back in "The Legend Of Spyro: The Eternal Night" page (long before much of anything was known about the upcoming game).

Swimming was, like, my favorite thing to do in RR and YotD. D: I hope they at least bring it back in DotD, since they didn't in the first two of this trilogy. I was a bit miffed about that.

I bet you can swim, just because that the beggining levels are always easy, like the level with the river. then there are the relaxing levels like the watergate, before the hard part comes. Like multible hard bosses, or a lava level where you must avoid the hot pool of hurt. So I'm sure that they're going to be fair.

A great thing about this game is that it is said that you can backtract so if there was any swimming you could do it over and over again!!!
I don't know if there us going to be in the first place. Like the previous titles there wasn't even enough water to swim in (heck it didnt even come up to Spyro's knees and he is the size of what a puppy?) Since he is full grown now there is even less of a chance that we will be able too. I loved the swimming actually it was one of my favorite things to do in the original era.

I'd like there to be swimming. There shouldn't be a reason why Spyro has a phobia of water. >.>

Spyro has a phobia of EVERYTHING at some point...until that thing happens to hurt someone he cares about. He was scared stupid of Cynder until Ignitus got captured, and the Mountain of Malefore scared him until he found out that Cynder was being held prisoner there.
And...can T.L.o.S dragons swim? In TEN (or AN, if you go in water, you drown.
