Okay, I watched this interview of the maker of Dawn of the Dragon on Youtube and it was reaveled that he said 'kids' on the interview which means it could be rated E in some sort of way.

Probablly E10+

In movies for instance they usually say that PG13 movies make great family movies so I guess that is what they are trying to say.

Get what I am saying?

Yep. I've been also watching trailers. Kept saying E10. To clear things, the maker himself said nothing about the movie.

E10+, however some people are suggesting T. Do I care which, of course not. It matters not if it's E, or M, or even AO ( although I still need parent consent to buy those =_=" ).

Mature rating is doubtful. The highest a Spyro game could ever get would be 'T',unless if they decide to go crazy and turn the games mature.(NOT a good idea!)

E10 like the other titles. It seems just right because it is showing that Spyro is still for kids but can you know still have some violent moments too.

The legend of Spyro games are a quite a bit more violent than the original era right? That is what I meant by violent moments. It was sorta hard to say what I meant.

Probably going to be rated E to E-10, like the other previous Spyro titles. A Spyro game rated T for Teen or M for Mature is totally unlikely to happen. If you can see from Spyro's past games, they all game out as E or E-10+ games. And some gamers even said that Spyro is mainly a kid-based game, so it is highly unlikely for this next coming Spyro game, and other future Spyro titles to be rated above E-10.

I wouldn't care much about the rating either. I can get games of any rating, though for some reason even though I'm 21 I've had to ask my mother for permit to get titles rated 15 (BBFC)/16+ (PEGI) or higher . That said, the rating won't harm me as a gamer, I'm sure of it.

Why on earth wouldn't they? There is absolutely nothing wrong with spyro being rated 'T' or 'M'. I really don't understand what everybody has against it.
I don't know where it came from, as far as I knew, it was only me who would like it to have that rating.

What for? mean, I could care less, but some parents wouldn't want their kids playing a game with that rating. I mean, a few parents out there
just prefer game ratings on their child's level. You see? So really, it
kinda does matter why they would or wouldn't be rated "T" or "M".
However, I don't see why parents would do that over a Spyro videogame,
but like I said, there are some parents out there...

On the game ratings front, much like anything else, the Spyro franchise only really has two options, grow up with it's original fans or try to create a new fan base. I don't think I need to point out which of those is easier.

Although, that is extreme generalisation as by increasing the level of mature content it would not only keep its original fan base but would likely gain new, more mature, fans to the series.

Although conversely, raising the content may actually turn off most of its original fan base, especially old-school Spyro enthusiasts and perhaps even turn away those who may have been interested in trying the series for the first time.
However those who are initially turned off by the mature content may be tempted to try it anyway, likely enticed by comments and reviews by those who have played it and enjoyed it.

Whichever way you look at it there will be losses and there will be gains, the degrees of which are so far largely unpredictable.

But in the end it all comes down one very simple principle:
If you don't like it, don't buy it.

You pretty much just summed up the idea of buying a video game in those last few lines. However, it is still a good point, nonetheless. However, I kinda thought Sierra was trying to appeal to a new audience, which is why they made this reboot. >.>

Well, you can have a "regular" version that rates E10 or the "uncut" version with rated T.
