If there was a better reason than just "evil changed him", because Mephiles from Sonic Next Gen has purple on him in one of his forms and he just LOOKS evil.

Shrazer three years really isn't a long time. It would probablly take more time to find your body than we think. So I am agreeing with HIR on this. Though maybe it could take a shorter time like maybe when he was resurrected in TEN he was reunited with it.

We won't know for sure how he looks in the next game if it is only him in spirtial form.

EDIT: Remember Dark Spyro? Spyro is a purple dragon and he turned black when he was under the power of DM. Maybe that is how DM really looks like. Black skin yellow horns white eyes.
