Who could Spyro's parents be? [CLOSED]

I think it would be an awesome twist if Malefor (the DM) were Spyro's dad! But it would also be cool if Spyro were the THIRD purple dragon, and his father banished Malefor to the Well Of Souls. I wonder if Spyro could be Ignitus' son? And who on earth could his mother be?!

If Ignitus was the farther of Spyro he would have told him or unless like some random twists he could have a reason not to tell Spyro that he is his farther till the very end. His mother well... I don't think she would play much of a great role in Spyro's story well I'm saying I don't think they will show her or give little infomation on her in the game.

I think that's what the Wendy's cards stipulated, that they had the same parents/were related, but according to Razz the game's creators said that was wrong.

We know one thing their parents have in common, though...
They're all dragons. 8D

Many people want to believe that Ignitus is Spyro's father.Could be true,since the 'This Broken Soul' song is about their relation or something like that.

Many people want DM to be Spyro's father to. Maybe Ignitus is Cynders father or the other way around like Mewnaphy said. Maybe Cynders father is DM!!!!

DM being Spyro's father would be a star wars copy...especially since the DM is played by the voice of Luke Skywalker...plus, he's been trapped in there for 1,000's of years. Maybe he could be an ancestor of Spyro.
Anyways, because of the song "This Broken Soul", like Mewnaphy said, points to Spyro & Igz' realtionship, it is a good possibility that Ignitus could be Spyro's father.

I dont think they will reveal who the father of Spyro is. Krome was going to do that in TDH, but now they arnt making the game anymore.

Aw... >: That's too bad. I hope these Etranges Libellules folks decide to anyway. Maybe since they're new to the Spyro scene they'll throw us a nice curve ball, something unexpected. We're not quite sure what they'll do with the story itself, after all. (or at least, I'm not... The video I saw on Gametrailers.com with the big redesign was huge news to me.)

If a purple dragon is only born every ten generations, and say spyro is the 3rd or 4th purple dragon, that would mean, if every generation was roughly 70 years, that the DM would be 2100 years old...And didn't he die way before spyro was born?

Anyway, I hope Iggy is Spyro's father. smilie

You still think Krome is doing the next Spyro game??? Click on DotD on here and look at the developers they are different know they fired Krome.

i don't think this broken soul is a spyro and ignitus song. i think its a cynder song. you can REALLY TELL that its a cynder song.

The same person is directing, and the script writer is to. They and the composers work for Sierra.

Have you been on Spyro world lately? The people who directed the song even stated that they were inspired to write this song because because of Spyro's and Ignitus's relashonship with each other and how Ignitis would feel if he saw Spyro turn into Dark Spyro. I thought the song was about Cynder too though.

It sounds a lot like a Cynder song but it can be a Spyro and Ignitus song to. It is cool that you can look at this song from two different perspectives. I am guessing if you REALLY wanted to you could make it a DM
(or Malefor song if you wish to call him by his REAL name)
if he was trying to go back to the good side or when he was going through exile.

And yes your message board/posts HAVE gotten a LOT of attention!!!smilie
