why would someone sell a figure that costs $8 for $8 and be out of pocket with the postage sorry i cant see it happening

Only chance you've got is if you post the city you live in, and maybe someone here lives in the same city can meet you for the exchange. But like Skaterpunkdan said, why would someone spend 5 or 6 bucks to ship a figure just to get $8 in return?

Or you could be reasonable and simply ask for someone to only charge you what it cost them (nominally $8 for fig and $6 for shipping).

You will be $6 more out of pocket but you got what you wanted, were not gouged and did not have to waint Lord knows when to get it.

Seller is happy as somone else is made happy (karma and all) but not financially disadvantaged.

Lets do some math if a skylander is $7.99 and you have a sales tax of $.07 on the dollar like we do here you get about $8.54 so next we add shipping at about $3-$6 so we get $11.54-$14.54 at the cost of the person so they loose about $3-$7 dollars, i would ask for a skylander at $9-$10 without shipping
