I went to 3 wal marts and 2 best buys today in knoxville, tn. On a wed afternoon I was shocked to see each store had at least 5 other people looking for them. All the shelves were empty. Most of the people were lookijg to resell on ebay. Looks like the next wave is going to be tough to grab. If i can grab some extras when they are released ill sell them to anyone on this board for retail value. It sucks the people that actually play the game cant get the pieces they need bc of evilbayers. I had no problem getting wave 2 early. However, wave 3 is probably going to be tough. The guy at walmart said they were sold out at every store for 150 miles. Good luck to everyone. If i can buy a few extra ill post on here with pics if anyone is interested just pm me. Just trying to share with actual gamers. Im not in it to charge some kid 100$ to play his favorite game. Althougj most of the people i ran ibto were probablt between the ages of 30-50.

Based on personal experience and from what I'm hearing on this forum, you will need to practically live at the store in order to secure these damn figures.

I wonder why Activision doesn't fix this problem, by not shipping anymore wave 3, until they have enough to fill ALL stores at the same time with wave 3? They can do this, by putting a hard street date on each new wave. Gives them time to make a lot and ship them, while stores can't sell them until a specific date.

What people don't understand is why we're facing this shortage at the moment. Activision had a shortage of figures, they didn't make enough for the holiday season, and now we have non at all. This time, learning from experience, Activision should produce enough to last until the next wave.

I went to 4 stores today, and Toys R Us actually had the Zap/Hex/Dino-Rang triple pack I needed. It was the only triple pack on the rack, in addition to about 15-20 singles that I already had. Paid for it, and continued my hunt.

Then, I thought that I should buy more in case someone wanted characters in here, so I went back for the singles. To my surprise, there was ANOTHER Zap/Hex/Dino-Rang triple pack. I snagged it, too, in addition to singles of Zap, Hex and Dino-Rang. Makes me wonder if they are holding back inventory to avoid getting cleaned out by a single buyer.

Anyway, long story short, I've got extras of Zap, Hex and Dino-Rang if anyone needs them. Send me a PM. Otherwise, I'll just return them at some point.

They HAVE to hold back on shipping any out, until they can get figures to all stores at one time. The only way to stop a scalper dead in his tracks, is to place product in all stores surrounding him as well as all of the United States. They can't be everywhere at one time, and the more these get into the hands of parents, the more they won't sell on Ebay.

At my stores in wisconsin they cost 10 dollars now. But toys r us has Alot of them by me... but no wave 3

Activison WANTS the shortage. They want people talking about this game. They don't want the hype to die.

They will shoot themselves in the foot if this continues. There are many parents getting mad about wasting gas looking for figures.
