Has anyone tried to register a duplicate Skylander for the on-line game? If so, what happens?

I have. It doesn't let you register it.
It says you already have a Skylander of that type.

Yep, and if you do this because you replaced one of your skylanders you will have to unregister the old one. I lost my level 11 Whirlwind this way smilie ... new one is up to level 5 or 6 now.

I am waiting to see what will happen when I put in a code for a skylander I have rented which should be any day now.

It just plays that regular animation of unlocking (The code flipping over to SkylanderSpeak, them calling out their battle cry, etc). Except it feels like you kind of got a kick in the pants for wasting the coins on it.
