i dunno about you but i think they've ruined Sparx in the legend of spyro etc etc. He used to be so good in the other games but now he looks kinda wierd. What do you think?

Actually, to tell you the truth,I actually prefer this new design to the old one. It is the same with my opinion of Spyro's new design.

As a prequel to the original I have to say its okay. The dragon elders look amazing in this version. I like Ignitus and the others. The designs are better in this game.

The New Characters have a great design, but I prefer the old Spyro and Sparx Designs.

Actually, after thinking about it, both Spyro and Sparx have had three designs, not two. The first designs they had during the PS games, ETD, and the first three GBA games. In AHT, Fusion and SL, they had different designs.
For Spyro, the differences between his two designs being that he had no spikes going down his back in the original, he had a somewhat different shade of purple, his eyes were of a lighter shade of purple in the second design and the scales on his back and on his chest differed from the original design. For Sparx, the second design differed from the original as it had a wider face, his wings were transparent, not purple, had no visible arms and no aura illuminating from Sparx.
As for their designs in ANB, Spyro's spikes going down his back do not touch, his legs and wings were smaller and his horns were shaped differently. Sparx's design was a fusion of his other two designs, with a wide face and transparent wings, but he had visible arms and illuminated a golden aura. He was also larger than the original two designs.

i doubt anyone noticed (i definately didn't) but good observation

I would love to see what characters like Hunter and Ripto would look like if they were brought into this new continuty.

yeah! that would be awesome! But to be honnest, I dont really like having ripto back into the new spyro games.

Maybe the sequel will show the origins of some of these characters! That would rock out loud!

I love how the dragons in this game arent anthropomorphic(shape of human with animal chracteristics) it adds more depth to the whole dragon-look, fierce, bold. they dont look so scary just standing up. anyone else think so? ...the just look more like dragons..what do you think? Sparx does look pretty cool in this game.

i think sparx looks older in this game than he does in the others.

the sinals he makes with his hands dont agree with what he is talking "...and the formed god of tall plains sparx" but he was like he showed spyro appointing to him

my opinion is i like Kromes new desighn!every thing is new but better!

I don't like the new sparx - I like sparx in a hero's tail but I pretty much like the new Spyro. Except for his teeth. The graphics and animations are fantastic!

I am going to put a list of how much I liked him in each game from greatest 2 least.

YOTD (Sooooo cute and useful!!)
AHT (Still cute! But not as useful )
ETD (Not as cute but still cute! Kinda useful)
STD (Kinda scary looking and not VERY useful)
RR (All he said was that annoying buzz noise that he makes when he collects gems. Not much of a character)
ANB (Ugly,annoying, and useless)

ANB Sparx is the BEST! spyro has slightly sharp teeth like fangs!

I like what Sparx says, just not how he looks. And I wish Spyro's horns were just a little bit straighter (just a little!)

they look cool the way they are!i think all dragons horns are born like that hten as they get older, they straighten out!

I dont mind the look of spyro and sparx really, its actually abit cute!
