Well I am finally done getting all silver Skylanders.

Dino Rang I found at a Walmart.

I traded a third - sealed - Whirlwind I had sitting in a closet for a silver Eruptor which will be coming to me today.

The Boomer, I bought off of Ebay, but for a far better price than what most pay for these things.

So the most I spent on one of these, is 50 bucks (the Ebay one).

YAY! Now I can be done looking at stores until new product arrives.

Good Job man....still would like to get one of those but I will not hold my breath! ha ha

Congratulations! That's an incredible achievement, and I'm glad you pulled it off. We're still at 0/3, and not for lack of trying, so certainly respect must be given where due. Great work.

I actually got lucky and found both silver Dino rang and silver Boomer at a future shop of all places

And A Big Big Big Thanks to a fellow forum member chaoswarrior who is selling me silver erupter for 60 bucks. The last silver one i needed.

Thanks for the congrats. If I ever run across silvers, maybe I will help others out, but only after I help a friend try and secure one... or three.

Nice Elite Club Nintendo reward in the background. Got that myself (still love the coin box figure I got the year prior. Too bad they won't throw up the gold nunchuck that they have on Club Nintendo in Japan.

I haven't seen one silver guy but they are the same as the normal guys when put on the portal but there color is so rare people don't even unbox them so brand new box if you buy online

Yeas i'm a member of th nintendo club i also have the mario pin set whe you pre ordered mario land and mario kart 3ds. I think Yep there down in the bottom right hand side.

But i love those classic mario pins both sets.I also have the Giant mii which is MASSIVE way bigger then i thought it was gonna be and the set of zelda posters aswell i just ordered the new zelda posters which are on the way.
It's nice that nintendo club gives you these things along with the free shipping and the items at least the ones i have are very well made especially the posters. If anybody would like i will hang the zelda poster up and take a picture only if someone wants to see them though don't wanna clutter up the forum with pics no one might not want to see.

P.s was anyone else fooled by the size of the volcano vault? I thought it was alot bigger then it showed up LOL i laughed pretty hard they make it look sooo much bigger in the picture or the picture i was looking at

I confess that I was fooled as well. As it is merely a disc with no elaborate features, the people selling them could really zoom in for the photo.

No matter as I did not pay a crazy amount for mine...

You would have to do a damn good job because when i look at mine the bottom piece and figure are painted silver seperatly.

So you would have to rip off the skylander figure and put it back on do even mae it look good.

Just saying most people will know especially when chances are they have one of the real silver ones already.

I know your just talking and not really gonna do it i'd hope. But it would be hard to pull off that's all i'm saying. a can of silver spray paint is not gonna cut it

This technically isn't a complete collection. What about the three packs with Silver Eruptor and Silver Dino-Rang? As a perfectionist, I'd want those as well LOL!

Grats on your first silver. The thought had crossed my mind, and if I see an oppurtunity to get silvers that way, you better believe I will.

I was able to get a Silver Boomer today! (Boxing Day, of all days of the year!!) I am kind of sad to find out they are no different to play with on the game system....however, happy to see what these guys go for on Ebay!

Man isn't it exciting when you see it there you kind of get a little rush especially when you get to pay retail for it.
But now the millon dollar question. Do you keep it or sell it?

I did get a little excited. And can you belive it I found it at a Toys R Us in Ontario.
Once I brought it home and found out it is no different and more of a collectors item....the rush wore off
Not too sure what to do at this point. Its just sitting in the bag still sealed up- MINT-waiting for me to deside. I'm not much of a collector. I like to play them in the games....not look at them in the box, tbh.

I know what you mean once you find out they are not silver in the game it's kind of a let down.
But on the good hand we'll make way more off of them whenever you decide to sell it.

Yeah i found silver boomer and dino rang both AT ONE TIME at a future shop in oshawa ontario,one was hanging up and one was in a bin filled with skylanders. Man they still have TONS of skylanders over there.

If I choose that route...selling him. Which is the best place to do it?

I can't wait 'till they release the Translucent Skylanders! Im so getting them
