the new warrior customisations fit in well with the life theme

i'm hoping that a level 9 skyland will appear soon

I like the viking stuff on the earth theme, especially the bridges. The well is kind of visually redundant with the cornucopia. Raised money to buy everything with my daughter while watching how to train your dragon... perfect.

Is anyone getting a 500 server error right now? I'm trying to login, but that pops up on Universe right now....and I really want to register my vault. haha

Yeah, that Spyro model looks a bit different than the ones we normally have.

Welp, it worked now. I registered my Vault, but..upon checking the Magic Items, there's only the vault registered! o___0

I tried registering the items again, but it says "You already own a Skylander of this type". OOokaaaaay.

I had the same login problem right now,but I still got into the Universe game just fine,by the URL.When I look up,however,my username isn't in there.

brief outage today... nothing new noticed...

I confirm nothing changed except that the tresure hunt game seem to value more money.

Aww, the update is finished and Camo, Warnado, etc. still aren't available for rent! It's just asking you which you prefer, crate basher or mini games.

when will the last three be rentable

I'd say probably mid May, or whenever we see an "official" release. A few people were told that they weren't out yet, so Gamestop, Walmart and now Best Buy seem to have gotten a leg up on the official release.

-You can earn hero point be playing mini-game
-On the mainland it have the skylanders clubhouse when you can unlock or rent skylanders...
-mini-achievement appears on the screen
-Warnado,camo and wham shell are rentable

Awesome updates.

Now when you want to unlock a Skylander, you can go to the Skylander Club in the Mainland.

You get objectives, which requires coins for doing certain tasks, info displaying your Skylander stats, and a newsfeed keeping track of what goes on with you and your friends.

Pretty cool. I like these mini "quests"

Here's what I got so far:

-Bash a crate
-Eat a plant your Skylander likes
-Dance
-Say something on chat
-Play a mini game on the Mainland
-Customize an item on your Skyland
-Bash one block on the totem
-Visit another player's Skyland
-Play Sheep Shot
-Eat a plant on another players Skyland
-Visit 3 Different Skylands
-Customize a tree, a bridge and your lair
-Earn 1,000 coins
-Rack up 25,000 coins in Castle Assault
-Bash a crate on another players Skyland.
-Change your Skyland's theme.
-Get a present from an elemental pillar. (Doesn't seem to be working right..) edit- Seems you have to destroy the entire pillar yourself. Very hard especially because a lot of people sit and wait by them for respawn.
-Visit the Skylanders Clubhouse.
-Have your Skylander wave.
-Rack up 25,000 coins in Ground Defense
-Swap your current Skylander
-Ask Flynn to random travel.
-Eat 5 plants your Skylander likes.
-Visit 6 different Skylands.
-Bash 5 crates.
-Eat a plant your Skylander doesn't like.
-Get a present(s) from 3 different Pillars.
-Visit 9 different Skylands.
-Rack up 200,000 points in Sheep Shot
-Spend 5,000 coins on Skyland customizations. (how can we get this if we've already bought everything?!)
-Visit 12 different Skylands
-Rack up 100,000 points in SWAT!
-Rack up 10,000 points in Gem Rush
-Rack up 2,000 points in Treasure Hunt.
-Rack up 6000 points in RoundUp
-Rack up 50,000 points in Castle Assault
-Visit 15 different Skylands
-Rack up 35,000 points in Ground Defense.
-Get 3,000 coins.
-Rack up 400,000 points in Sheep Shot
-Rack up 20,000 points in Gem Rush.
-Spend 15,000 in Skyland Upgrades
-Bash 2 blocks from Elemental Pillars
-Rack up 4,000 points in Treasure Hunt
-Eat 10 plants your Skylander likes.
-Get 5 presents from Elemental Pillars

*Notes:*
-The "Rack up X points" objectives are cumulative. You don't need to get that much in one round.
-It seems for the Elemental Pillar ones that you have to knock down all of the blocks yourself even though it should just be the last block.
-Visiting the different Skylands is rough because of all the menus you have to go through. Its easier if you go to Flynn and choose random. You won't even have to move when you get to a random Skyland.
-For the purchasing things, if you delete a totem, you can just buy all the stuff back. Not a big reward though.
-For the eating plants one, you can just swap your Skylander to eat any plants you come across. Even easier if you have a portal connected.

I like this new update, even though I get impossible objectives (Spend 5000 coins on skyland items, I have already bought everything possible )
And now I finally have all the skylanders unlocked! (Own all but 7, unlocked them using coins =) )
I have so much money I can't spend, I might play with camo and keep paying for it until I get my hand on one
And way for earning exp in the games! =D
No more crate bashing (have enough money, 50.000, and all the lore tablets =) )

Yeah, some of these really need to retroactively unlock. I mean..i don't want to go customizing everything or trying to get these high point things again.

Yes, great update!

Let me point out some other things not mentioned yet
- sideways barrel!
- same old blue flattop ignitor
- 75 exp for a totem piece bash

Somebody report on exp for ground defense. I can't check it out right now

Exp for all games I've tried so far (Including all three games on your island and sheep shot)
And seems like we get more Exp fro bashing crates! =D
Edit: Crates used to be 20Exp according to what I read on the forum, it's 50 now

Oh, and the high points they ask for stacks, you don't have to get it in one round =)

Is it just me or are there a HUGE lag at the moment?

For the spend 5000 coin one I just deleted my nature totem and rebought/upgraded it and that did the trick.

Oh wow, I did, and now I must spend 15.000, and will only gain 5000 back
All you earn is money, so it's not worth doing, only for the sake of doing it.

It just means that you will have a 5000 rebate in your purchase

Hey guys! The sheep totem actualy influence sheep shoting mini-game

-Small totem: the sheep have a rocket on her back ad they have some gems on the cloud: give 250 pts each

Oh I noticed that! Mine is fully leveled up and I have a Gold sheep, plus almost every cloud has a gem on it.

And...if you go past that line, you actually get points deducted from your score.. which is surprising to me. Almost every "cannon" game I've played awards you bonus points for getting it really high. Or nothing. But getting points taking away kind of stinks.

I got the Objective: Dance Party - Dance with 2 or 3 other skylanders

Breakables on Earth theme - weird little stone guys and sandcastles

Breakables on Wind theme - little gray clouds and cloud stars. They also made it sharper, not so washed out

The MY INFO is a little different, not quite sure in what way yet

I have not been much of a MEDAL collector but it looks like there are some new medals to earn

It won't load for me. I can't seem to get on to see the new updates!

i believe the info now displays rented skylanders. don't recall it showing that before.
not seeing any new medals though.

Tech theme: treasure and can
Ice theme: frozen coins and jare
magic them: beaker and magic cube
life theme: Nuts and garden gnome
undead theme: beaker(again) and tomb

I see them on the main page where you can look at your medals, but they don't appear in the game..yet (?)

They are:

EDIT: Looks like there's a bunch of new chat options, like saying something directly to another character. (Which you'll need to do if you want to complete the "Say Hello to Spyro" objective)

those medals are not new. they appear in the game after you get them, but they take the place of another (charged up/ fully charged)
invincible: not sure how to get
baa baa: again not sure
pinball wizard: "in castle assault, bounce 15 times on pinball bumper blocks"
marksman: "reach wave 30 in sky defense"
vortex: "in castle assault, gravitate around an attractor for 6 seconds"
tycoon: not sure
fully charged: "use 8 different special powers during a wave of sky defense"
feast: "snack 1000 times"
charged up: "use 4 different special powers during a wave of sky defense"
gravitation: i believe vortex is now in it's place so i can't recall how i got it. maybe gravitate around an attractor for 3 seconds?
pinball master: same as above, not sure how i got it since it was replaced with pinball wizard. one could assume from bouncing on pinball blocks as well
rich: 1000000 coins

I think I already got vortex and gravitation
