I have been stuck for a very long while now on the hermits cave part of the game... I have to climb up some vines jump across to a wall running section and then land on a platform, for the life of me I cannot get spyro to wall run, it is really getting annoying now because I've been trying to do this for about 3 weeks now. what is the secret to wall running..

Press and hold the Grapple button when approaching a wall from the side to run along a wall!
You'll lose momentum as you run though, and will start going lower, so be sure to time it just right!"

I am playing on the Wii and I don't seem able to get to grips with the nunchuck so easily... Maybe I should go back to playing solitaire

The wall dash (as I call it) doesn't seem to work very well with the Wii. It works great on my PS3, but not so great on Wii sadly.

Okay fair enough, but if you're not really into games that much, then I recommend you getting cheats for later on, it will get tough. There are cheats for this game in the DOTD section of this website.

The grapple button is the same button you would have used to climb the vines on the way to the Hermit's Cave. It is also the same button you use to grab enemies while fighting them. On the Wii, it happens to be both the A and B buttons, but I imagine other consoles would only require one button press due to the greater number of more easily accessible buttons.

I don't see why the wall running was a problem, it is as simple as climbing. Well I play games like this all the time(Zelda mostly) both requiring you to know what to do when you see it. Expl: I started Skyward Sword not too long ago and found things faster than my friend, though it was my first time. You just have to know what to expect to advance in a game much faster. If You had trouble with wall running then that is your flaw, i just didn't see how it was hard.

Oh my goodness! I have the same problem! I am stuck on the part where I should see the hermit. And you know what? I CAN'T GET TO THE LEDGE!!!! I have gotten there once as one player, but then cynder pulled me down into the water. (I have wii version)

how can you not do it?
wall running is easy and I only have this game on the wii. I found it kinda hard at first but in like 3 minuets I got the hang of it (and im just a kid)
