No, the game isn't going to be coming out this early. Sorry to disappoint you guys, but they've already said that the game is going to be released on October 8th, 2008 (in the U.S.A.). But I don't know why they have a countdown clock on that site. Maybe it's going to be some more information on the game (like "matesds" said). But, I'm 99.999999999999999% sure that the game isn't going to be released this early.

Yeah, but when, since time seems to have stopped at hour 16 on day 4. Like it keeps repeating itself at 4-16-01-15 when it gets to 4-15-59-59.

I very much doubt that TDH will be released at the end of the countdown, it is far more likely, as the original article states, to be some form of press release, possibly a teaser.
However it could also have nothing to do with TDH, and instead involve an unrelated event e.g. a new feature to the website, or it could mean nothing at all however unlikely that may seem.

Edit: You are right forgotten world, the timer does appear to be awry. It appears to me that whenever the counter hits 04-14-00-00, instead of moving to the next hour it reverts back to 04-14-03-14.

I would think it would have to do with TDH because the picture is of it. Why would they show that and have it have NOTHING to do with it? It makes no sense to me. And it cant be that it is the countdown to the game because it is not coming out in four months. That would mean that it would be released in July. Everywhere else is saying that the global release is in October 2008.

When the program goes down past the hour mark it resyncs with the server time, and because the internal timer is a little bit fast it'll appear to go backwards but is infact just giving you what it really should be at (although saying that the server time is not exactly correct in the first place).

Maybe it's a countdown to different trailers of the game, which is why
the times keep changing. Then again, that might not be true...

Yeah, it might be a server error of some sort. But anyways, the timer is down underneath the "4 Days and 10 Hours" mark.

As I said on the news post, this is the Spyro fan equizilent to that boring Brawl.

Although, the count down object looks amazing.
