~The small forgotten town~
In the small room of the small house at the end of Lily Street awoke a small fragile girl, her long messy brown hair falling into her faces as she slowly sat up. She stretched, brushing her bangs that needed to be cut out of her slender framed face. This girl had large blue eyes and a small pointed nose, with a smile that never seemed to fade. This girl looked around her small bedroom, filled with boxes unpacked and fragrant candles, and slowly and carefully, she slid her legs over, placing her feet gingerly and the hard wood floor. And with another slow moment she stood walking to her out her room door, which was plastered with stickers and photographs of animals. Opening the door slowly she timidly continues down the hall, and down the wooden stairs, holding onto the rail for dear life.
Once down stairs she walks through another door way, "Teira, you're up early." Said the woman setting breakfast on the table, three plates and all. This woman had Dark brown hair, which was almost black, and eyes to match. "Aunt Hanna, I didn't think any one would be up." The girl replied, blowing her bangs out of her faces as she proceeds barefoot to the large glass doors on the other side of the quaint little dinning room.
"You start school today, don't you?" Her aunt asked, eying her as she slid the door open to let in the cold winter air. "Yes, Ma'am..." Teira replied, stepping out side, ignoring the fact she was still in her nightgown. "This town hasn't changed at all... It's all the same as when i was little." She added, and smiled. Her aunt sighed, "And neither have you, so get back inside and eat your breakfast before you catch cold." She said, motioning to the table. So, Teira turned back inside, closing the door behind her.
After quickly eating her break fast she proceeded back up stairs to quickly change into her uniform for school, which looked like a old timey dress of sorts with it's frilled long sleeves and puffed out skirt. Teira slipped on her shoes, grabbing her crammed bag, and proceeding down stairs again to hurry outside, "Take care now, I don't want to get a call saying you fainted on you're first day of school!" Her aunt called after her as she opened the front door, running down the nearly vacant street. She slowed to barely a walk after going a block out of sight from her house, heading west towards her middle school. It'd still be about another fours blocks before she was there, not to mention she'd have to cross the busiest street in town. And at that moment, she noticed the person walking next to her. This person had tomboyish black hair that was cut she short it looked just like a boy's, and Teira would have though it was a boy if this person wasn't wearing the same uniform she was. The person looked up at Teria, so short and thin she looked just like an elementary school student, with eyes that were like bright green suns. "Hello there. I'm new in town, would you mind telling my where Milton Middle School is?" She this voice that could rival a mega phone without trying, the girl using a pointed grin that made her look like the Cheshire Cat. "Well, are you going to answer me or not? If we don't hurry we wont be able to say we were the first one's there!"
Teira stared for a minute, replying quietly, "It's down this way, I'm on my way now." And to this the girl whistled, "Wow, you talk way too quietly, i almost couldn't hear you over my own thoughts!" "Excuse me?" "I'm Mikia Mionta, a seventh grader."
