So if I were to re-dub Spyro, maybe even do parody dubs... [CLOSED]

So, I have wanted to start voice acting for the longest time, and I've finally decided I will start.
Trouble is, I'm not sure WHERE to start. I'm doing Spyro first, seeing as I can get more feedback here than anywhere else, but I'm still unsure about what exactly I will do first.

So what do you guys think?

What cutscenes would you like to see me do, or maybe, particular characters?
Should I simply re-dub things first, or go as far to parody them myself?
Would you rather I impersonate the original voices, or do you think I should do my own interpretations of the characters?

Any suggestions are appreciated. smilie

In some cases, my own interpretations might not be very different from the official voice actors in terms of what I'm going for, but in other cases, they may be very different.

So, any particular cutscenes or characters in mind?

I think you should try and voice Spyro in the first ever cutscene of the irst game, I mean, all you have to say is "Looks like I've got some things to do" It's a nice and easy line to practice to, since it's short and not too complicated in words.

I might do a compilation of random lines from Spyro 1, because I love his voice in that.

Same here! It's so cute. Awesome, that'll be interesting to hear, since you are Irish, and apparently sound American smilie

His nasal condition voice is really cute!
But you would have to try to match his sratchy voice.

Like others said before, try easy lines first and then do the harder lines when you feel you are ready. Do you want to try every voice of Spyro or just the Original voice?

I've been wanting to take up voice acting for a long time, too, and I have just started by saying a few lines from Rio. Sometimes I match the VA perfectly, others aren't so good...

I'm not really worried about the difficulty of the lines. I was just unsure on what scenes would be the best test subjects. But I grabbed a few from both Classic and LoS, which I thought were good scenes for this sort of thing.

I won't try to impersonate everyone. I will be trying new things with some characters, but I will stick close to what the original voice actors did for other characters.

There you go, you've already worked it out. I guess you didn't really need any of this in the first place.

Do some of the lines from the first spyro game. Practice on a nasally like voice. That would be kind of fun.

I beggarly, all you accept to say is "Looks like I've got some things to do" It's a nice and simple band to convenance to, back it's abbreviate and not too complicated in words.
