At the end of TEN it looks like Spyro is protecting Sparx and Cynder using some kind of glowing yellow sheld. I then wondered will this mean that Spyro has discovered another power or is this another exuse for Spyro to have to re-learn all of his breath types again in TDH. Tell me what you think.

it'll probaly be an excuse... since he learnt the power out of nowhere... unless the chronicler quickly told him before he went to fight, but yeah i think its an excuse

it was a cristel thing BUT i think when they get out of it cinder will ask what happend and spyro will try to use his abilatys but he used all his poweres to make the cristel but i think iv hard thers ment to be the main 4 earth fire ice electric AND 2 others i Think

I think it was more a "spur of the moment" kinda thing; I doubt he'll even know what it was, how to do it again, ect ect. In the Inheritence books, it's said that strange things happens around dragons, and even they don't know the limits to their power. ^.^ I'm going with that idea.

Proof? Besides, ice is melted by fire, and if the ice is reused in liquid form, it puts the fire out and is evaporated a bit in the process. How exactly does that work out?

i think its just a power thing thats a shield so in the third game you get to use a shield!

It was dragon time they were frozen in time and dragon time you can slow down time but with enough power it can stop time any way if u use ice fire will just malt the ice everyone knows that only stuped people don't or u have to be a baby

and he could have used all of his energy to save himself and the others

Sorry, that hypothesis is unacceptable. Spyro lost his powers when Gaul zapped his with his scepter (Soul Gauntlet). Evidence in shown in the first battle against him, in which Spyro has lost all his magic energy and it cannot be regenerated or used in the second part of the fight.

then how would he be able to use his shadow fire to kill gaul if he had no magic left. I should know i've finished the game 9 times.

The DS described it as a Time Fury. I dunno though...
(I've finished the game on PS2 so many times that now I only play it to watch the FMVs)

The yellow shield was a mix of all of Spyro's powers, first he used fire then ice then electricity, and lastly earth to wrap it all up

Still say it was Dragon Time.

Okay, that's just my personal opinion, but maybe Spyro learned how to freeze himself and others in time...

It's Dragon Time. Combined with all of his elements I think. Because in the end the Cronicler didn't told Spyro what kind of element he should use.

The Chronicler mentioned that only a Legendary Purple Dragon(Spyro) can control TIME and that Spyro should use it wishly. But you also have to realize that the Chronicler has special powers too. I think that as Spyro was freezing time, the Cronicler sealed Spyro, Cynder, and Sparx in some sort of Time Capsule. If the Chronicler can Teleport Spyro from the White Isles to the very gates of the Well of Souls. I don't doubt that the Chronicler has a few other powers that he keeps secret. Besides Fire and Ice would cancel each other out, but earth and electricty would not. Since some pictures of thunder stroms(if you slow them down) sometimes show lighting coming out of the Ground! Just a thought.

It looked to me as it was energy first but then it turned into crystal and beside that dragons draw their power from chrystals so it isnt suprising.

Well , as the first time I though that are 4 elements together (fire and ice completed by electricity did crystal harder than earth) but I saw DS ending at YouTube and that was a TIME FURY .

But that 'Spyro's New Power', I think, it's some Convexity and mix of something. Not mix of Fire & Electric, or ice.
