I landed at a river. But not just any river, becuase this river has magical properities. If a dragon looked into the pools, they could see the one thing they disired most. Weather it was a gem or a destonation, they could see it. The only downside was, the pools coud not tell them where things were. As I looked into the river, I saw my parents. They had died in the Dragon Wars 3 years ago. My eyes started to water. My sister landed next to me no telling what she saw, but, I think she saw our parents as well. The wars started when the humans thought that we were threats to the world. They were the ones who started cutting down the forests and destroying the rivers. The river I was by was secretly hidden by the oldest dragons. Now it was exposed. The humans killed the gaurdian dragons while they were protecting the river. They used the last of their magic to protect the river. Now the barrier was fading. How did I get there? It's a long story. After my parents died I ran away. Oh, by the way my name is Victoria. My sister's name is Topaz. I am a burgandy color and my sister is dark orange. Anyways, as I was flying just a few feet ahead I saw a cave. I noticed that the cave had glowing blue sparkles around the opeaning. I knew that some magicgal thing must be in there because of the barrier. As I walked in I noticed that the cave was very large and long. The entrance itself was another story. While flying it looks large, up close, it was just barely big enough for a fully grown dragon to fit through. How did I know how big the inside was? I had stuck my head in the opening and peered inside. My sister, unfotunatly found me.

When the story's finished it might be short, but it'll be good. (maybe)

Here's more of the story.

Why didn't I want anyone to find me? Good question, but when you think that you've found the teasure that most dragons died to protect, you don't want to give it up. Topaz started asking all theses questions and I knew I couldn't keep it from her foever. So, I told her everything. Starting with why I ran away. " I didn't go far from home at first,Topaz." "Well,you scared me! You had me thinking that you were dead!" said Topaz. " I think I found The River, Topaz!" I told her. " The River?" She asked. "Yes" I told her. Topaz screamed. " Where is it?" Topaz said. You see as all dragons should know, but my sister probably doesen't, is that the river flows undergroud from the cave. " Topaz the river flows underground and into that cave." Itold my sister. " Oh!" Topaz replied. The next day we went into the cave. Topaz started to fly around me. The ceiling was around 5000 to 6000 feet high with cliffs dotted around the walls. In the middle was the biggest pool of the three.

Topaz landed next to me as I said before. " Wow!" Topaz said. " What do you see?" I asked my sister. " What! You can see things in the water!?" " Yes, Topaz. You would know that if you had been paying attion to the legend Grandma told us!" I screamed. As I looked down, i noticed my vision was getting blurry. I couldn't see my parents anymore. I moved my hand. I had reached for my parents and made the water ripple. " What's wrong Victoria?" my sister asked. " Oh, nothing." I replied. I don't normally lie, but in case you haven't noticed Topaz, isn't the smartest dragon ever. " Hey Victoria, do you see what I see?" " Nope, probably not." I told her. " Well, I see Mom and Dad." She had seen exactly what I saw! " Me too!" I explored the cave untill I heard a thud.

Later has happened!!!

I first thought that a big, dragon-sized rock had fallen. I was wrong, Topaz had been hit. By what, you ask? A young human had somehow found the cave and hit my sister's wings. I turned. the human's eyes filled with fear,and I growled. He bolted for the door! More humans flooded in! I couldn't save my sister! For fear she was gone, I managed to crawl through a slightly smaller opeaning. I soared through trees and as I looked down, I saw a second dragon battle on the ground.

I'll probably write a sequel, but not now. This is the end of the story and I hope you liked it!!!!

ooh, aweosme. you're good at writing! but next time, wait for someone to post on it, or edit your post, not double posting...wait is the story over???
